It had been almost a year since I had been able to be in to a chiro and we moved from one state to another during that time. So I showed up at BOTC in a lot of pain. Dr. Cynthia has been great. My body is very slow to respond to healing but she has been really patient. I now have more good days than bad in fact it's more like one or two bad days in a month instead of maybe one good day in a couple of month. Dr. Cynthia listens when you are talking about what's going on. She doesn't try to rush you but really listens. And she's great with my boys. My husband sees Dr. Chris and really likes him. I originally came in to get light therapy for Bell's Palsey and shortly after talking to Dr. Long and their process on educating oneself I decided to take a bigger step and take X-Rays. Sure enough no shocking results as I've never been to a chiropractor before my spine needed work. I've been coming here for over 2 months now and I feel better than I came in. Bell's Palsey is totally gone with a fast recovery and couldn't be happier. I was originally recommended by another co-worker and he also had great results. I do not suggest you come here just to get light therapy or get adjusted. They will come up with a customized plan and tell you exactly what you need but most importantly why. I'd like to start off my review by saying that I'm a 36 year old typical guy who thinks he's invincible. That was, until my body decided to disagree. I've been looking for a chiropractic office that wasn't built on gimmicks, and actually paid a little more individual attention to what was going wrong with my body each visit. I think that Dr's Chris and Cynthia have put together a very professional office that works like a well-oiled machine. They obviously care about their clients health more than most (I've been to 5 different chiropractors recently). What I don't like about most chiropractors is an over-reliance on whatever the latest chiropractic tools are out there, and especially when they have a "one-size-fits-all" approach to chiropractic. I'm not saying the tools don't have their uses, but they're all some chiropractors seem to wanna use these days. In my opinion, these guys really understand when to use different methods, and adjust on the fly with whatever your concerns are when you come in. I'm feeling so much better from the stresses of running my business since I started two months ago, that even last night I found it remarkable that I was finally able to take a deep breath in for the first time in forever (the statement sounds absurd until you realize what your body hasn't been able to do for so long). After getting in a car accident, I needed to see a chiropractor and was told to try here. It is great! The entire staff is very friendly and informative. I'm no stranger to chiropractors, having seen one a lot as a child, and they do the right amount of hands on crackin' I like, combined with certain machines (The roll table rocks!). They also provide stretching exercises depending on the area that is having most problems. They do focus mainly on spinal issues and talk about Subluxation (when a vertebrae is out of line and creates pressure on nerves). They handle more than just accident victims and I will continue to see them for preventative maintenance. Pop in and try them out sometime! They also have a masseuse on staff. read more

Dr. Cynthia is absolutely amazing! I managed to tweak my neck and it was stuck at a 45 degree angle (Torticollis). I kid you not. I was in a ton of pain. In my desperate search for help, I found Dr. Cynthia based on her tremendous reviews. I called Dr. Cynthia's office and they fit me in their schedule immediately. After one adjustment, my neck was almost perfectly straight and my pain went from 9 out of 10 to 2 out of 10. I could not believe it. Fast forward 5 days and I am almost good as new. I call her "The Spine Whisperer". I've been to chiropractors before and they fixed me right up. But, I never knew how it worked or why it worked and why continual spine adjustments are so important. If I had, I would've never stopped going. Dr. Cynthia is not only the best chiropractor I've ever been to, she is also the ONLY chiropractor that explained in detail why a healthy spine is so important. Up until then, I took my spine for granted, not understanding the complicated and miraculous things it's responsible for. So, how did I end up in her office? In the late 90's I was in a car accident that really messed my back up. After 6 months of chiropractic adjustments, I felt back to normal and quit going. That was my first mistake. Throughout the years after my accident, I had periods of soreness and/or incredible pain, which would ultimately lead me to a chiropractor. But once I felt better, I would quit going. I would put up with pain and soreness from everyday chores, cooking, shopping, etc. just because I thought it was normal because I was getting older. I threw my back out one time just by sneezing and ended up in urgent care. Again, the chiropractor fixed me up and I was good as new...or so I thought. Then recently, after lifting groceries from my cart to put in my car, I felt an odd twinge but didn't think anything of it. By the next day, I was in incredible pain. Again. I tried to fix things myself but after 3 weeks, I knew I had to get back to the chiropractor. I found Dr. Cynthia online and read thru all of the wonderful reviews. I felt confident that she could fix me. I walked into Dr. Cynthia's office hunched over and in some of the worst pain I've ever had. She examined me thoroughly and did an adjustment and I immediately felt a little relief. I went for an MRI and found out that my back was in pretty bad shape. I had multiple herniated discs and some spinal stenosis in my lumbar. Previous xrays noted arthritis as well. Dr. Cynthia and I agreed on a plan and throughout the next few months I received regular adjustments. She also invited me to free classes where she explains in detail how the spine works, what it can do, as well as other helpful, interesting information. She showed me different exercises that I could do at home to help strengthen my core to not only help support my back but alleviate any sciatic pain. The adjustments, exercises and valuable information I received were/are LIFE CHANGING! I am almost back to normal now although my new normal is much better. I don't get the soreness and pain after housework or cooking. I feel so much stronger. And I have gained additional benefits that I wasn't anticipating. I have gone from 2-3 debilitating migraines a month to ZERO. My posture has improved remarkably and it no longer feels good to slouch. The only con I can think of is that I'm standing up straighter and it now appears that I'm taller than my husband LOL! Now that I've learned the importance of a healthy spine and the amazing things it can do, I know that I will go to Dr. Cynthia for regular adjustments for the rest of my life. I know that if I do this, that I won't experience the terrible back pain that I've had in the past. This is something that I will add to my list of body maintenance items along with my yearly women's screening tests, dental cleanings, physical exams, etc. Thank you Dr. Cynthia and your wonderful staff (Lorraine and Stephany, you are the BEST!) for making my life better.
