When i picked Millie up, she had been stripped down to the skin. Her skin was BRIGHT RED like a burn. It turned out that Margie was not available and they turned my beauriful dog over to an unskilled employee---charged me for a professional master groomer but that is NOT what we got. We have now found out that the damage to her was so extensive that part of her fur will NEVER grow back.They have permanently ruined Millie's coat---which for the last 9 years has been beautiful and healthy. I reached out to tell them of the situation and---crickets!! Do not EVER take a beautiful dog there and expect anything but damage. I wish i didn't have to add a star to this review!!!

Better than PetSmart!…read more We were referred by our friend who has a 17-yr-old terrier mix. At first we were leery and wary of a "school" where "students" are just starting out and learning. We love our little 6-lb shih tzu Sofie and of course want what's best for her. After some not great experiences with PetSmart (nothing terrible, Sofie just didn't like them and they weren't as detailed with her cuts), we decided to try USPG. When they asked us how we wanted her full groom, they showed photos of different face shapes, different cuts, etc. I am a visual person and enjoyed seeing examples. I wanted to keep the black on her ears and the white/black on her tail. The receptionist made notes of everything! Sofie loved them and her first cut was a success! They gave her a full teddy bear face and kept her ears how I like them (black tips just lightly trimmed), and cleaned up her tail. Overall, it was a very positive experience! My girls actually get excited when they realize where they are where before at other groomers they have been terrified when they realize where they are. To start, good luck getting them to answer their phone to schedule an appointment. You should expect a text message from a random number at some point from one of the main ladies that appear to work there. Upon getting a text I asked for a quote to groom a Goldendoodle that I additionally sent a picture to them for a quote. $75-120 quoted for a full wash and groom. Upon dropping our dog off red flags started flying. Incredibly dirty, with dog crates stacked on top of each other, boarder line puppy mill looking. Not a hello, how are you, nothing. She simply took my last name, dogs name and phone number on a piece of cardstock. ZERO request for vaccination records. Upon asking about a cost she noted "We will let you know when he is done and I call you". I knew I was doomed. Let me point out that my dog has long hair and he had a little matting, but nothing anything different than we've ever had groomed. 2 hours after drop off I get a text that he is matted and that it will cost $200. Wow. I promptly responded with the text of the prior quote from another employee and noted that this is 2x the cost of any other groomer. No response. I text 15 minutes later, 30 minutes later and an hour after I get a call asking what I want to do. I say I'll come get him and she notes, "Well we have washed and brushed him, your bill is $125". The only thing I can think to do is get my beloved pet away from these people asap and bite the bullet on the cost to get out of the scenario. I show up to get him, shockingly no hi, hello, how are you, nothing. Our dog comes running out, she throws the collar and leash on the table. I pull out my wallet and she states, "I thought I told you cash"... I politely write a check for $125 when it should have been maybe $50 and she begins drilling me on how I'm going to rip he off and on and on. Long story short, I would be shocked if these guys stay in business in general based upon their service, but more so based upon the liability that they take when not maintaining the safety of your pet with other animals being vaccinated. Additionally, due to their demand for cash/check they are most likely avoiding the IRS showing income in their business and they will see the ramifications eventually. I feel lousy writing a review like this, but if I could give negative stars I would. My goal is to solely provide others with an understanding of what you will get from this company. I'm a neurotic dog owner so I was nervous about leaving my dog with a stranger, but Kirstine was very reassuring. As soon as we got to her shop, I knew I'd made a good decision (thanks Yelp for helping me find this place!) When we picked the dogs up a few hours later they looked gorgeous. Best of all they seemed right at home and had obviously been treated well. Kirstine is a nice lady with a great sense of humor. Highly recommend!!

We can always count on them to treat our baby girl like their own and she loves it there. A huge added bonus for boarding which has made our lives so much easier with a busy travel year is their after hours pickup/drop off service. They make it so easy to work with everyone's busy and unpredictable schedules. They were wonderful to work with and I will be using them again. They let out dogs stay in connecting kennels as they are always together. Also the facility was CLEAN and smelled good. Additionally after a camp trip I tried their groomers. They were great. My dogs didn't have any anxiety going there. I really liked that they gave us a time with an expected pickup. Other places have you drop off your dog early in the morning and you don't get them back till late afternoon. My dogs looked so handsome when we picked them up. Also I just read they do vaccinations there so I will be checking into that more next year. The owners and staff were wonderful with our dogs and I highly recommend them
