I really recommend, it's a nice place, and the coolest shop I've been to around here by far. Only complaint is that I wish that it had more stock. (I forgot to mention, but there's also collectible toys and comics there. Also, there aren't many clothes. For that I recommend twice upon a time).

Why did that stop for you? Walking into the Exchange takes you through generations of different collections and endless shelves of cool games. It is basically like walking through a real life eBay. They buy collections to resell back to the public. It makes every excursion different as you never know what may have been sold to the store and what new things may be out on the floor. The place is always super organized. The staff is very attentive... even to alway greet you on your way in and out. Everything is kept clean to make it simple to look through thousands of items. I'd recommend setting aside more time than you think... because you for sure will spend more time in here than expected!

There's a wide variety of new and vintage collectibles. From comic books to costumes, a little bit of everything for a variety of collectors tastes. They have a huge collection of Funko Pops, video games, action figures, cd's, dvd's, and even musical instruments. Definitely a good stop for any collector that needs to find that set collection finishing piece. Helpful and friendly staff are there to help with any questions you may have. Best thing to do is go to www.copacetic.biz or even better head over to the store, nestled in a quiet corner of Squirrel Hill across from the police department. Bill (the owner) stocks an unbelievable range of comics, books, DVDs, music, and art in his tiny space. You won't find many contemporary superheros here, but what you will find is all the modern artsy comics you can handle, the Criterion collection of DVDs, weird discount European jazz label imports, Little Lulu, punk rock, Pauline Kael, the Dover collection of classic literature, local zines, a big comfy chair, and most importantly, the proprietor who will find out your tastes and guide you to the material that will best intrigue and interest you. He encourages browsing and reading, and there's usually classic or independent cinema playing on the small TV, or else classic jazz on the stereo. I checked the "$" price rating because nearly everything that Bill sells is discounted from the original price - including both the new stuff and the classics (on which many of which other stores have bagged and marked-up the price). This is extremely rare in comics retailing. Since moving to New York City, the two retail institutions I've missed the most from Pittsburgh are (1) REI, and (2) Copacetic. Go there now!

That's unacceptable and she was most likely given a $7 value of grenadine at best. I'm sure if they needed to they could have created a custom item and set the pricing but this business instead decided to prey and take advantage on someone who was too Kind to disagree and refuse the order. The record store is impeccable with new finds as well as rare. I've seen quite a few bands play here as well from local to touring and national acts. Space is small but packs the people without being uncomfortable. Acoustics are good. The addition of the bar was a smart move. Affordable prices with alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages. This is totally a place I'd want to visit if I were on vacation somewhere. Glad I don't have to leave the city to do so.
