Every year the Saturday before Thanksgiving she holds a craft open house that looks like something out of a Christmas movie, with a snow machine, 2 cozy fires and Christmas music to get you in the holiday spirit. You can shop, sit by a warm toasty fire, enjoy free hot chocolate , hot dogs and popcorn while listening to your favorite Christmas songs and even sit on Santa's lap. Each year, she and her husband Mike add more to the event, like this year they will have Santa's golf cart decked out for the holidays to shuttle you from the parking lot across the street to their house, as the driver of the cart last year said "this cart runs on Christmas cheer " and sings as she delivered her riders to the event. I would encourage anyone who has never been to this event start your holiday season off with a visit to Sommers Crafts N Nat......and even if you can't make the Christmas open house , keep Sommer in mind when you need an extra special gift or craft .
