I've been coming here for over a year now, for monthly massage therapy. I couldn't be happier! My…read morejob takes a toll on my muscles and if I didn't have the care I do here, I'd be in constant pain. I've seen a lot of the therapists here but Alyssa is my favorite by far! She listens to what you are looking for (if your shoulders have been stiff, or if you want a relaxing massage that day), she's really strong, and very skilled at making knotty muscles behave! I love that I can ask her for the sciencey-answer to what she's doing or what muscles are locked up; it empowers me to learn more about my body and how to care for it afterwards! The spa itself offers convenient online booking, it's very clean and peaceful (and looks down onto the ocean!), and their customer service is top notch. I use their Wellness Plan option, which offers a year of monthly massage appointments for a slight discount. Love it!! I hope this place stays here forever. And the fact that it's right beside the ocean means that if you want to continue relaxing after your massage, you can just walk downstairs and sit on the beach.

Hmmmm. Since baby was born I have not had a chance to do…read moreanything for myself. Baby is now 9 months and my husband generously purchased a surprise facial & massage. I left pretty disappointed. 5 Stars facial -- The facial was awesome. The esthetician was so sweet and bubbly. She explained what was going to happen and her positive energy alone was 5+++ Stars. I would go back solely for future facials with her :) The massage: it was by a girl named Jennifer. After reading the reviews I'm saddens that I got a newbie vs. Marisa. It was the worst massage I have ever gotten. When the masseuse came in to meet me after I had spoken to the esthetician she was not warm - and bland. I told her I wanted deep tissue & to not be gentle. It started off ok, but as she got further along I thought "did I pay for a massage or merely to be inadequately rubbed with lotion". You know the massage isn't great when you're left laying there wondering when it's going to be over and it feeling like it's taking forever. I have had better relief when getting out of a long shower. Total disappointment ... :(

I recently visited D4 Season Head Spa for the first time, and it exceeded all of my expectations. I…read morewas dealing with a pretty severe tension headache and decided to give a head spa treatment a try. Even better, they were able to accommodate me as a walk-in. The receptionist recommended the D4 Signature Head Spa, and it was exactly what I needed. The service included a head massage, scalp cleansing, hair wash and treatment, upper shoulder massage, hydrotherapy, and blow-dry. At $85, it was worth every single penny. Mandy took care of me, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, attentive, and made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. The combination of the head and shoulder massage, scalp treatment, and hydrotherapy helped melt away so much of the tension I had been carrying. By the end of the session, I felt refreshed, relaxed, and so much better than when I walked in. The spa itself was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. It felt like a true escape from the stress of the day. I was also impressed by the extensive menu of services they offer and am already looking forward to coming back to try more of them. If you're dealing with stress, tension headaches, or simply want to treat yourself to a relaxing experience, I highly recommend D4 Season Head Spa. Thank you to Mandy and the entire team for such a fantastic first visit!

For the past few years since working from home full-time, I have been prioritizing self-care:…read moreconsistent movement, stretching, chiropractic care, sports therapy, acupuncture, facials, meditation, you name it! Unfortunately around the time I started full-time remote work, my massage spot at the time stopped taking my insurance. It has been challenging finding a provider that takes my insurance AND does not have a long waitlist. Anyways, a few months ago, I slightly pulled my back during our move to the new apt. I decided to try Elements Massage on Holman mainly due to its convenience of being close to home. I was scheduled to see Emily, and have been seeing her since then. What I appreciate about Emily is that she takes the time to educate you on not only the cause of pain and tension, but ways to improve your self-care at home: utilizing ice packs, stretches, salt soaks, etc. Incorporating these in my own routines has made a huge improvement in my post recovery workouts and back/neck tension. At my last session, I was feeling so tired that I told Emily I felt like I will pass out on the table. I let Emily do her magic and she delivered giving me nice, relaxing full-body massage. It was such a great treat, and a testimony, on how much my back/neck tension has improved in few months. I enjoyed it so much that I booked a 90 min session with Emily next month. While you can book single sessions, the membership at Elements is such a great deal. I went with the $99/month for one 60 min session which can carry over, gift to a friend, or you can pay a little extra to extend the time. Honestly, this is one of the best investments you can do for your body and I couldn't be more enthusiastic to recommend Elements Massage.

I need very deep pressure, and Elements offers therapists with every level of pressure so you can find exactly what you need. For deep pressure, I definitely recommend Jay! She's very knowledgeable about the muscular & skeletal systems, & is able to treat the specific areas needed with high accuracy and a concentrated precision that will leave your muscles wondering what just happened. She's very professional, courteous, & conscientious of your time, & I always feel safe when I'm getting a massage from Jay. Cannot recommend them enough!!
