If it's not in stock he will save your information and contact you when it arrives. As for the atmosphere of the store, it's well lighted and doesn't overwhelm you with the smell of burning incense. Matt keeps a nice selection of music from most genres playing while you browse. I'll be a regular there as it's the only record store in Johnson City that doesn't try to extort you on the prices and have you shopping in a dungeon with a few candles burning.

There is lots of "country," but it isn't even good country--it's like "a Guy you've never heard of covers the hits of yesteryear." It's a shame too, because it's prime real estate for a good independent record store (bring in some RSD releases), but as it stands this is a junkyard with a clerk.

I can very easily see this being the next big antique/vintage store for Johnson City. If she gets a couple vendors with some vintage clothes and some southwestern jewelry perhaps (just something beyond grandmas pearl necklaces and fake glass earrings) whoooo! She'd have it made. Truly loved the reasonably priced WIDE variety of tasteful 70s/80s vinyl. Not your average Goodwill stuff. And all the 70s deco furniture made my heart ache for a house to decorate and the $$ to do so. With a record player at the door playing some Paul Simon, the native rugs on the floor, and the case of 35mm cameras by the register, this place is going somewhere.

While understandable, they then claimed that it had been confusing to match up my emails to the order number, even though I had always responded to email threads that contained such information in it, and had both sent emails AND updated the support ticket on their site as such. After a lot of back-and-forth, where I asked for a full refund, they ended up agreeing to do so on the 24th after them almost rushing and then sending out the order by mistake, even after I had expressly said that I no longer wanted the order. I finally got that refund credited on Feb 6th; that's the only reason I'm updating this to 2 stars instead of 1.
