He showed up early and had everything ready to go at the beginning of the party. The Photo Booth was very successful with partygoers partially because of Dray's enthusiasm and encouragement. He adjusted the camera up for tall people and down for people in wheelchairs. And made sure that photos were printed for each person in each photo. It went so well that my mom wants a Photo Booth again at her party next year.

Chris handled so many components of our wedding - from the amplification for our ceremony, to cocktail hour music, to being our MC for the night, to the lighting, to the reception with live musicians. Everything ran so well and the dance floor was packed the entire night with guests from all walks of life and ages - family, friends, aunts and uncles alike. Before planning a wedding, I didn't realize just how critical a DJ is to making a wedding run smoothly. That person ends up being the key coordinator for the night - handling introductions, announcing and facilitating key components like first dances and speeches, and making sure the flow of the music engages all guests. Thanks to Chris, my husband and I were confident that each aspect of our wedding would be covered seamlessly. Chris also went above and beyond to make our wedding special. When we asked if he could help us find live musicians to perform alongside him, he sourced a drummer and several saxophonists for us. It made our wedding so unique, and afterwards, many guests specifically said how amazing they thought Washburn Entertainments was. Carpets were filthy. There was food from previous tenants in the fridge. It was tidy and cute, but not very clean. The shower light had a short that caused it to come on and off randomly. Plusses were: Air conditioners in every room that worked, and plenty of hot water. 1 bath upstairs served 4 bedrooms. Keurig machine worked once. Talked to owner about replacement and were told he would take care of it next day. He came and got it, but didn't replace it.

I was astounded by the beautiful grounds! Ron was THE best host anyone could ever ask for. His attention to detail was above and beyond. Anything you needed, he was there for us from the booking until the end. He is absolutely a one-of-a-kind, amazing host!! Bride and bridesmaids stayed at the stunning Victorian house the night before the wedding. It was pristine, clean and such a treat to be able to have the house on the property, which added to the experience. There is even a gorgeous pool with seating all around and a hot tub! It does not get any better than that! And ladies, the bridal suite is amazing! I would say without hesitation, this is the most beautiful wedding I've ever attended. The ceremony was outside under the arch, dancing was in the immaculate barn complete with lights and chandelier on the second floor. Food was served under tents on the lawn, which was perfect. What I loved was that there were so many places you could go on the property, should you want some privacy - the barn, the house, seating by the pool and other seating around the property. I will forever have etched in my heart how wonderful this place is! I called them today and they said that they had sent emails canceling the events due to "staffing shortages". (They did not.) When I expressed my dissatisfaction Sharon hung up on me. I now have to scramble because all of the restaurants are full and the other caterers are booked. After reading other reviews it looks as though this has happened with them before. Saturday's attempt at enjoying Michaela Anne and The Wood Brothers was my first and likely last…read moreexperience at the Ithaca Theatre. Short and to the point, its effort to be a social club and theater simply doesn't work...the establishment caters well to neither when combined. While I enjoy drinking and good music as much as the next, there is little room for movement, drink sale lines compete for bathroom lines along stair wells, and face-to-face communication can only occur standing in clogged thoroughfares. For those who attend to enjoy the performance, good luck with that. There is constant clamorous socializing occurring, even during a primary, otherwise spectacular event. The audience is never settled, endlessly getting up to grab another drink or to go to the bathroom, requiring all those between them and the isle to exit the very narrow seating rows, to let them out, then in, then out,...You get the picture. Think I'm kidding? Reach out to Michaela Anne (opening performer), who initially threw the audience a clear "hint" that performing amidst the clamor was not easy. For her finale, she explicitly asked that listeners attend to the important message within her next song (ironically, about respect for others), though to no avail. Dismissive or oblivious to either plea or the 'shushing' of those who wished to listen, the socialites did not yield. Despite clear signs stating that no photos or videos are allowed, ushers could be seen capturing the performance with their phones. For those who do not partake or care for exposure to a certain plant and practice that was recently legalized in New York...beware. Eventgoers were subjected to a notable amount of second-hand smoke from the lucrative herb. Did we not get rid of second-hand smoke in enclosed public spaces? I guess this smoke is different. The last bit of folly and experiential impact is the lack of seating etiquette and encouragement by staff. Rather than take to the isles or rear to move or dance, participants simply remained in their seating space, often brushing or hitting those beside or in front of them. Accordingly, once one group gets up in place, so do those behind them if they wish to see the performance...then those behind them, and so on, until everyone in the audience has to stand if they are to observe any of the performance...all to the disappointment of children and those less able to stay standing. Need I say more? Don't believe me?...You'll see.

I watched my video over 30 times in the first week, I loved it so much. She goes above and beyond for the couple and has amazing customer service. Ashley and Mark (her husband/assistant videographer) helped us keep our photo line up moving, telling the family who was next and who was on deck. And they even drove us from the ceremony to the reception when the groomsmen stole our car! I originally booked a smaller package in 2018 and decided to upgrade to a bigger package closer to the date of my wedding in 2019. I was surprised when she told me the price, as she gave me the 2018 rate! Then she threw in a bonus playbook on top that was not included in the package originally! One of my bridesmaids put it best "I appreciated Ashley's spirit the most. Her talent is a bonus to the kind person she is." I couldn't recommend Moved By You Videography more, but honestly her work speaks for itself! Thank you Ashley and Mark, for a wonderful day and a perfect video!
