I came to Ojos Locos specifically to watch the soccer World Cup qualifying games, I was excited to…read morewatch Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Uruguay and the other Nations play, after seeing them advertised on Ojos Locos social media. Unfortunately, this was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had at a sports bar. When game time came, none of the matches were on. I asked multiple waitresses if they could put the games on, and each time I was told "yes," but nothing ever happened. Eventually, I went to the manager, explained the situation, and asked if the games could be put on and if Argentinas game could be put on the big screen by where I was sitting. She agreed, but instead of honoring that, she only put one of the games on a small TV, while leaving women's tennis, something no one was watching,on the big screen. When I asked again if the soccer game could go on the big screen, she reluctantly switched it but made it clear they'd change it to football when it started. I even asked if the soccer game could stay on any of the other smaller TVs when the football game started, but she flat-out refused, despite there being over 30 TVs in the place. To make things worse, she switched off the soccer game after 10 minutes on the big screen for football 30 minutes before the football game even started. The entire interaction came off as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. It felt like the manager was being petty and deliberately difficult rather than accommodating a simple and reasonable request, especially considering the games were advertised. If you're a soccer fan, don't expect Ojos Locos to follow through on what they promote. Between the false advertising, lack of communication, and poor attitude from management, this was a really disappointing experience. I immediately left and went elsewhere to watch the games.

There were probably like 3 tables with people. So no reason for the employees not to be attending customers walking in. But the waiter was nice and tried his best to keep track of every table. When I needed assistance he was not available. I only saw two people working. The food took long. The kids meals was disappointing. The tacos were greasy and the tortillas were stale. The meat was flavorful. Plus really over cooked. It was my first time at this establishment. I definitely will not go again.

The service has been good the times we have visited and our orders come out in a timely manner. The vibe is pretty cool, they do have loud music playing and this past weekend they had someone singing live music. We tried the nachos (half order)- I would rate them a 5/10. They serve a good portion however our chips were stale. We have also tried the papa with the meat- 7/10 pretty good, great portions. My fiancé really liked it. This would be a repeat order for him, for me personally, I would try something else. Lastly, 9/10 is the giant quesadilla. This is what you go to El Plebe for! It is delicious and definitely a shareable. You can share it between 2-3 persons. The flavor is fantastic and unmatched. You cannot go wrong with this order. We add crushed takis to the taco. It's sooo good!

Today's visit was my second time to this Muelle 37 location. It is on the west side of Texas Blvd.,…read moreand couple of blocks north of Walmart and just south of Sugarcane Drive in Weslaco. The building is new and pristine, we'll landscaped, beautifully decorated with the typical Muelle 37 style of fishing piers, taxidermied game fish and a few pelicans. All bright colors, yet pleasant. There are some large screen TVs for those who keep up with sports. Background music is kept at a decent level for conversations until the birthday crew comes out dancing and singing dressed with samba sleeves when the Mexican mariachi birthday song (Las Mañanitas) announces it's time to celebrate someone's birthday. When that happens, just enjoy it, sing along or clap, as most customers do and with the person a happy birthday. Muelle 37 is an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant with an extensive menu that also includes some carne asada, a few antojitos, a children's menu, desserts, and a full bar. It is family friendly, and a great place for small groups, or even a business lunch. I would not consider it an intimate and romantic spot for a date, unless you really love Mexican seafood - and in that case, this is the place. I've been to more than one location of this growing local chain of restaurants and have always been impressed with the cleanliness, food quality, friendly service, and warm atmosphere. This time was no different. I got the fried fish and shrimp which comes with rice, French fries, salad (no dressing, Mexican style, but squeeze some lime on it!), and a cup of seafood soup broth. I guess it's my gringo blood, as I'd prefer some salad dressing and more vegetable choices. But this is an authentic Mexican style seafood restaurant and, having traveled extensively in Mexico, I can say they do it well. I don't drink alcohol, so I cannot comment on the full bar, but the limonada here is superb, just right. They also serve the typical fountain drinks. This location has a private parking lot. No street parking. Peak hours can be very busy as this is a popular restaurant, so we arrived at opening time and had our choice of seats. By 1:30 PM they were quite busy but still had open tables. I am posting pictures of the menu from their website as it is clearer than trying to take shots of the printed menu. Check them out, if you like seafood, I think you'll enjoy it. If you like Mexican style seafood, you'll love it!
