Came here with my friend and her mother for a single night stay as part of a friend's wedding. I was surprised to see a Holiday Inn in this area since it isn't particularly populated, though I certainly appreciated it being here! The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and any amenity you might need is either already in the room or available at the front counter. I somehow managed to forget to bring an iPhone charger (arguably the most important thing you should bring on any trip) so I went up front to see if they had one on offer and, sure enough, they offered me one right away. I half-expected them to ask for my driver's license or at least room number before entrusting it to me, though they were super casual about it : "It's fine, you can bring it back whenever you're done with it!" Wow, that's a breath of fresh air! The complimentary breakfast here was very nice and had a variety of warm options (not just cold cereal or basic oatmeal like many hotels try to pass off as a meal), and I dutifully returned the charger to the front desk prior to departure, with them accepting it back as casually as they had issued it. Maybe that's more about the nature of people who live around here, though I appreciated it just the same! While I didn't use the pool on this occasion, it did look very appealing, as did the landscaping around the hotel. I was very pleased with my short visit here and would gladly do it again if offered the chance! Overall: 5.0 stars ---- Pros: - Excellent rooms with everything you'll need to keep you comfortable. - Clean rooms, common areas, and parking lot. - Pleasant (and trusting) staff. - Great continental breakfast, actually worthy of that title. Cons: - None. You pay more for Holiday Inn than you would elsewhere and for good reason: they provide great value and ensure you're well-rested and in a good mood for whatever rigors tomorrow holds for you!

I have stayed in many really good and even great hotels throughout my time as a comedian and I must…read moresay that the Hampton Inn Washington Courthouse in Jeffersonville, OH is my all time favorite. Firstly, this is the best and friendliest staff I have ever known. The GM is hilarious and made time to make sure everything was right in my room and even brought me goodies to snack on even though I couldn't- I'm on keto, but they were very tempting snacks. Ok, so let me tell you about the room. Girl, the room had the most perfect bed I have ever slept on. If I could have figured out a way to smuggle this bed out I would have. I'm kinda like the Goldilocks of hotel beds and this one was just right. So right in fact that when I went to lay down for just 5 min before unpacking my gear it sucked me in and I slept for 2 hours ! That never happens! The tv was actually larger than my 50 inch at home and had great channels. This one hotel has messed up my entire theory of hotel cable. Maybe it's an anomaly, but in all the years I have been traveling for my career the equation has been the better the hotel is the shittier the cable. Well thanks for proving me wrong this time, Hampton Inn! The room itself was excellent. They gave me a handicap accessible room on the first floor and it was the first room when one walks in- as all handicapped rooms should be. Why most hotels put them so far down the hallways I'll never know. This one did it right. Getting a late checkout wasn't an issue, either. In fact they offered it to me. The best part of my stay had to be the giant picture of cows behind the front desk welcoming me into the hotel. Yes, cowss. I love cows and the cow picture just made me smile as I avoided the fresh, hot cookies. Corporate, leave that cow pic alone! Thank you so much, Hampton Inn! I will stay here next time I'm anywhere close.

Any questions or concerns were addressed without hesitation. The rooms were clean, stocked and comfortable. Breakfast was so good and very hot and there was plenty for our group as well as other large groups that stayed there the same night. After leaving and being a few hours away, my son let me know he left one of his personal items that was very important to him. One of our chaperones called and spoke to Emily. The item that was left behind had been set aside with a note of the room number it was in and our group information. After speaking to her, the chaperone was told they were going to be able to ship it back to us, no problem. This, of course, was not something that all hotels would do, but we were very excited to hear that it was something they were happy to do. I cannot thank her enough for making my son's heart happy and I will recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay around the Cincinnati area. We came to Ohio from San Diego to visit our grandparents and we had no idea what to expect being our first time in this state. The minute we walked in the door requesting early check in because of a conflict with our flights we were quickly accommodated with a smile. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel all the way around. The cleanliness and the comfort in the rooms was premier. The staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make us feel at home especially "Laurali". She made breakfast a delight and on top of that it was free. A heated indoor pool was a bonus for our twins and a late night treat. The location was very convenient with on and off the freeway access and having so many stores in walking distance was a perk. Thank you Homewood Suites Staff for making our stay a comfortable and relaxing one. Camacho Family San Diego, CA

Me and my husband stayed there recently for 5 days. Let's start with the good: The hotel room…read moreitself was fine. The hotel bed was okay. The hotel staff was friendly. The not so good. The breakfast was very underwhelming. They had no pancake or waffle maker any of the days we stayed there, which we were shocked. A few of the days they had the same thing for breakfast. Breakfast tacos. The eggs were those powered eggs that some hotels tend to use. Not fresh scrambled real eggs. I was surprised they didn't have peanut butter available for the toast. They seemed to have some difficulty restocking food items. During the first few days we were there the front desk staff member was often away from the desk so you'd have to wait for their return if you had a question. The hotel room bedroom ceiling light didn't work. The social time Wednesday evening was okay I guess. They had a pot of soup but no label on it to say what the soup was. The lid was extremely hot so I didn't actually open the lid. The hallways were very muggy/humid and the carpet was stained in many places. The elevators were like a sauna. The indoor pool that I went to once looked like it was in need of repair. There was an area of the ceiling that had bubbled. The ground had chips in multiple places in the cement so I wouldn't want to be walking around barefoot by the pool. Near the side door that led to the outside area at one of the indoor pool exits I noticed there was leaves/debris from outside on the ground plus the pool area looked like it really needed to be swept. I spoke with the front desk and they said they'd take care of it. The next day I noticed as I walked by the same debris of leaves and such were by the side exit of the indoor pool. The water was ice cold. Which it being a Hilton I was expecting a heated pool at least. My husband had an issue with his key card twice. On Wednesday the 3rd day we were there his key card stopped working. Wednesday evening he got a new one. Then on Friday morning his key card stopped working again but it was the day we were checking out so it didn't really matter to us.

Just off the Interstate but far enough that there was no traffic noises. Staff was courteous, masked the whole time and room was wonderful. The only drawback was the regular old shower head had a low flow, so it took awhile to rinse off. Beds were firm, pillows were firm - a great night's sleep. Plus very close to Walmart for forgotten items (like my wife's readers). Breakfast was very nice also. Coffee was from a single cup process machine but it had several settings from light to strong. Great coffee. And juice was also great, not watered down as some places do. Recommended.

Check-in was actually friendly. The lighting in the bathroom was great. The free breakfast had some interesting choices - not the standard things you see everywhere else in this price range. The store in the lobby made it super easy to grab a snack and charge it to my room. I found the room on Priceline and got a very good price, with no issues at all upon arrival. My only complaint - my King room had ample room, but the design was off, which resulted in a very dangerous clearance next to the right side of the bed. If you get up in the night, you may stumble and find yourself going right into the window - as I almost did. if you're alone, sleep on the other side of the bed - away from the window. If you're not... good luck! Other than the unfortunate spacing issue, this was an OK stay. On par with the new Holiday Inn Express in the area but can be had for much cheaper.

The longer we stayed in the room, the more bugs we noticed crawling around. It was absolutely disgusting. We went straight to the front desk and were told this was "normal for the season" and that moving rooms would not help because every room supposedly had bugs too. We had tickets for the Ark the next morning and there was a huge storm coming in, so we did not feel safe trying to drive around an unfamiliar area late at night looking for another hotel. We basically felt trapped into staying there for the night. The next morning I called corporate and was told the hotel agreed to refund everything. I explained we still needed time to find another hotel since we originally planned to stay 2 nights. When I called back around 3 PM after visiting Noah's Ark, suddenly they changed their story and said they were NOT refunding us anymore. After endless back and forth, they finally claimed they would "only" charge us $40 for late checkout and refund the rest, which I agreed to. Then came even more lies and confusion. The employee told me they "didn't know how to process refunds" and that I would need to call back when the manager arrived -- even though the person I had been speaking to, SANDRA, supposedly WAS the manager and had already promised the refund herself. Once we left, they ended up charging us for BOTH nights anyway. When I called the next morning, they completely denied ever offering a refund at all. The customer service was beyond horrible. Every single person gave different stories, lied about who the manager was, and refused to take responsibility. Absolutely one of the nastiest and most dishonest hotel experiences I've ever had. I've filed complaints everywhere possible. Videos of the bugs are on my TikTok, and I'm posting screenshots for proof. Avoid this place at all costs.
