I am extremely disappointed with our experience with SHIPP Shape Pool…read more My parents hired this company to professionally install their above-ground pool, and the installation was done incorrectly. The pool is not level, the water visibly leans to one side, it is buckling in several areas, and multiple support legs are not installed correctly. These are serious installation issues that have not been corrected. After contacting the owner, he acknowledged there was a problem, told my parents the installer was his brother, and said he had fired him. He also assured them that he would personally come inspect the pool and make it right. That never happened. Instead, he sent the same brother back out. Rather than fixing the installation, he simply piled dirt around the bottom of the pool. None of the actual problems were addressed. The pool is still not level, still buckling, the water still leans to one side, and the support legs are still improperly installed. There have been multiple conversations and multiple opportunities to make this right, but nothing has been resolved. At this point, the pool appears to need to be completely taken down, the ground properly leveled, and the pool reinstalled correctly. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend SHIPP Shape Pool. We expected a professional installation and for the company to stand behind its work, but neither has happened.

As another person stated in the reviews; he will take your money, screen your calls and won't call or text you back. I hope no one has to go through what we've been through. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Our back yard was left in a mess and now we're left having to figure out how to complete our project. The work crews did excellent work when you could get them out to do any work. But do not do business with Max Ward. He's a crook!

Max Ward is the owner of this company. I have a dead Palm Tree that needs to be replaced. I have…read morecalled several times, texted 22 times and emailed 5 times in the past three months. My response was there is a year warranty on the tree, but not when he will remove the dead Palm Tree. There is no need for such poor customer service after Max Ward has been paid in full for all services. I have begged and pleaded with Max Ward which I shouldn't have to. I would not recommend anyone to go to him for a pool or landscape because after he gets your money he does not take on the responsibility of following through on customer service. I have proof of everything that I have stated in this review.
