This is my go-to place for cheap but good food after meetings in the Kamias area. The cheapest food item is plain lugaw at P15, good for merienda. For lunch or dinner, their P70-P75 rice meal with iced tea is also filling. I particularly like the sizzling tuna and sizzling chopsuey. They of course have the classic sizzler, sisig. I haven't tried their batchoy or other noodle dishes like pancit, though. But I suppose they must be good as the name of the eatery connotes that that is the specialty.
Of course, don't expect much from the ambiance - this is just an open-air eatery with better facilities than a carinderia (I like the native materials used on the wall, though. I believe it's sawali). But if you you want a cheap but filling meal, I would definitely recommend this.
They are open 24 hours so anytime I feel hungry even after a meeting in Kamias ends late, I know I can eat here. read more
