We came in to…read morecelebrate my daughter's 8th birthday, and I was expecting it to feel like a fun, special occasion for her. Unfortunately, the employee who stuffed her bear was rude to my daughter and made the experience feel anything but welcoming. Throughout our visit, not a single employee acknowledged that it was her birthday by saying "Happy Birthday," even though we were there specifically to celebrate. No one offered to help or make the experience feel special. Build-A-Bear is known for creating memorable moments for children, especially on birthdays, so this visit fell far short of our expectations. It was disappointing to see my daughter leave without the excitement and joy we were hoping she'd remember from her birthday celebration.

I booked my daughter's MVP birthday party room to take place on August 1, 2026 @ 1:30 pm. I arrived…read moreat the location at 1:00pm with my party and was told that the party room was given away to another party and now my daughters party have to take place in the main party area amongst people we did not know. Then they tried to charge me the full price of the MVP party room to the point I had to go back and forth with them to be charged for a table and not a room. My daughter's birthday was ruined and no one offered anything. Taye (the fake manger) was also our party host, and he did not take some of the price off for them giving our room away. No one every came back to even help with siging happy birthday. They passed us some old, dry pizza and sent us on our way. We never seen anyone again until we were leaving. They told me that we would have to wait until the party in the party room ended (it had just started) and then we could use it or just use the public party area. My child was humiliated and sad because she had to share a special day with strangers starting in her face. No one ever offered to accommodate their mess up and basically said there is nothing they can do at that point. It was a horrible experience for our family and party guest.

He took us fishing - he more or less did all the work while we sat around drinking beers. He provided the bait, baited our hooks, unhooked our fish, told us exactly what to do and how to do it, and was always kind and patient with all of us. He cast for my grandmother and helped her reel in her fish. Sonny is the best. If you're in the area and looking for a way to spend an afternoon, a tour with Captain Sonny is the best.
