My wife and I purchased a large pot from Forge Imports yesterday. We inspected it before buying…read moreand found no cracks or other significant 'defects'. Their workers loaded it in the back of my pickup truck, along with another large pot and packed cardboard I brought around it. There were also 3-4 layers of thick cardboard on the bed of the truck underneath the pots. The worker pushed the two pots together to minimize rocking and everything looked fine. We drove home (approximately 30 minutes) down mostly highway with no incidents (e.g., potted roads, hard breaking, fast acceration, etc...). After initial inspection before purchase, we never touched the pots until the next morning when I uprighted one of them to get it ready for a neighbor to help me move because it was too heavy for me. That's when I noticed 2 significant cracks in one of the pots. I took some pictures of the cracks along with one I had taken the previous afternoon of the 2 pots still packed in the back of the truck and emailed them to the owner. Didn't get a response, so we headed over there mid-morning. As soon as I walked up, the owner said he had just read my email and said it was my fault and he would do nothing about it. He said he had a witness that said (correctly so) that it wasn't cracked before it was put on the truck. I explained to him that nothing I had done would've or could've caused this, but he just reiterated he wasn't responsible. I didn't even touch the pot after the initial inspection (before purchase) until the next morning to flip it over to be moved. We've shopped there several times over the years but will never go back. Don't know how this happened, but I absolutely know it wasn't anything I had done. The pot was either defective and/or damaged when being put in the truck bed. Didn't appreciate that the owner blamed me right away and never asked any questions to address other potential issues.

I had been searching for a place to take some old gas cylinders with gas still in them I had. They…read morewere at least 10 years old and just taking up room in my garage. Everyone I contacted told me they don't handle what I had or the type gas that was in the cylinders. Even hazardous waste locations turned me down. I called them and they couldn't answer me right away and would talk with the owner on what he thought I could do. They called back a couple hours later and would take them off my hands and also made me aware of transport safety issues I wasn't aware of. I am very thankful to them and their helpfulness. Good folks work there.
