She takes the time to chat about whatever with you during hair/makeup so you get to know each other in an unscripted way and it really helps you to feel comfortable and safe when the photo shoot starts. My hair/make up artist Jamecia Bowers from Beauty By Bowers Day Spa was phenomenal! Before starting she ask if there was anything I didn't want her to use like certain colors, black eyeliner, etc. My end result was full glam but still so naturally me and I couldn't stop smiling at my reflection. While shooting Meagan guides you like a hype "man"! She has a magical way of Shh'ing the internal (negative) voices so you can just relax and enjoy the moment. The shoot itself is empowering and you leave feeling so proud of yourself but the reveal is the cherry on top. She is supportive and SO patient in helping you choose exactly what you want without pushing a sales pitch. I basically wanted ALL of my photos in print or wall art. Instead of using that advantage, she acted as a neutral party as I talked through where I envisioned my prints in my home to narrow down my final selection. Ok, so I received this as a gift from my husband. He purchased it on Groupon. I was super skeptical…read moreabout going so I held off as long as I could. Welp the expiration date was near and he reminded me of it. Considering I am turning 40 soon, I thought what a great way to celebrate my 40th! I purchased a few sexy outfits, went and got my hair and makeup professionally done, and went to my photoshoot, again super nervous, this was totally out of my comfort zone, but the photographer made me feel super comfy and I actually felt really sexy in all of my outfits and poses. I anxiously awaited my date to review my pics and the image consultant was super sweet and helpful. I did spend 1,000, however, this is probably something I will not do again, I only turn 40 once, and my husband when he saw those pics....... (we reviewed them together), he was mumbling under his breath, he was just as shocked at those pics and it made me feel sexy all over again. As a mom, wife, and working full time, I needed this... we all need this reminder, we are sexy and this just reignited it for me. Amber (Photographer) and McKenna, (Image consultant) THANK YOU! I did a lot of research upfront and read a lot of reviews...... I must say I was well aware of what I was getting myself into. The prices were sent with each email, (Pricing guide) and they always suggested to be prepared to put 10% down...Before my image consultant began, she repeated that same statement. I just say be open, the hotel was super nice, the images were nice.... this is not photography done with a disposable camera so be open and prepared to pay for nice pics, cause more than likely you will love all of your pics. I started with 117 pics, and got down to 74..... and then got down to 11. It was hard, but I am in love with my pics and happy for stepping outside of my comfort zone and doing this. -A happy and sexy mom!
