From the moment you reach out to Sarah and her team, they make sure that you are taken care off. While I knew that I wanted a shoot with Sarah due to her amazing portfolio, I still had doubts and felt self-conscious (Am I even the type of person who would do this type of shoots?). However, after I talked to Sarah on the phone, she patiently answered any questions I had (posing, outfits, being comfortable during the shoot, etc.) and put any fears I had at ease. The whole experience was incredible from receiving the welcome box to the actual shoot to receiving preview pictures the day off the shoot to actually receiving the final products. Truly a rare 5/star experience. First & foremost, Sarah is an incredible photographer, woman and person. I found her site and loved how her portfolio demonstrated that she brought out the best in different women with an array of body types and personalities. Her photos were not cheesy or typical. I emailed, she replied, we talked / immediate connection. I described my goal for a photo shoot and I shared my Pinterest (privately) with my inspiration photos. We agreed on a date and package about 2 weeks out. I collected outfits, material, rented jewelry and got the most gorgeous shoes ever. We emailed back and forth and I decided to go with her vision from there. I am SO grateful that I did. This photographer is a visionary. She studied my Pinterest and listened to me. When I showed up with my pile of possibilities at her lovely studio in midtown, her makeup artist Beth Pilgreen then transformed me into me amped up / not heavy just dewy and glowy and lovely, While I was in makeup, Sarah finalized her plan and checked out what I brought and decided what to use. And I just followed her choreography from that point on. It was work and strenuous and eventually exhausting. About 10 days later, I saw the results .,, my gosh - it was hard to believe it was ME in the shots. It was worth the work and following Sarah's direction completely. Sarah definitely brought out MY best and the pics are GORGEOUS. One of my yelp profile photos (the best one in blue dress) is Sarah's work. Sarah is worth every penny and more - she will make you comfortable, relaxed and you will have a blast. I wish there was something higher than 5 stars as Sarah fully deserves that and then some. I can't even describe how awesome of an experience it is to work with her! From the initial consultation(s) to seeing your final pictures, she's top-notch. I also loved the fact that during what could be a super stressful situation, Sarah has a knack for finding a way to make you forget about your insecurities and feel totally comfortable. I had seen her work online and loved everything I saw but doubted I could look like anyone in her portfolio. When I met back up with her to see the final images I was beyond blown away. Though it's been months since my shoot , every time I look at the photos Sarah took of me I'm immediately taken back to memories of the day of my shoot and stunned that I'm the women in those pictures! I fell in love with Sarah's work the first moment I discovered her website. Her portfolio is uncommonly diverse, and I was beyond excited to see a photographer with such an inclusive approach! A photographer myself, I was looking for an Atlanta-area boudoir photographer to refer my own clients to, since I don't offer this style of photography. Sarah's work is so incredible, I wound up booking her for my own session! I never thought I could feel comfortable being photographed mostly naked, but Sarah was so much fun and totally relaxed about the entire experience. She talked very openly with me before we began so she knew exactly what I'd be comfortable with and what sort of end product I was aiming for. Sarah is fabulous and so is her incredible team. I was so comfortable through the whole experience and she made me feel like she'd known me forever. She was incredibly easy to talk to and get along with and so complimentary which really increased my level of comfort and lowered my inhibitions. On top of that, you can tell she clearly loves what she does and is an expert--her direction was great as I had never done a shoot like this before and definitely needed the guidance. She really has an eye for what will look good but doesn't make you feel awkward about posing at all. She sent me a sneak peek the same day and basically had me in tears over the photos!
