Bad River Pack has THE BEST Beef Jerky in town. I actually get it at the Mesa, Arizona SwapMeet (outdoor indoor market). This stuff is GREAT! It's not dry and tough. It has plenty of flavor and they air tight pack it so it's going to last. I get it every two weeks for my backpack. I don't go out into the mountains without it. It's a hiking staple for me. They have Jerky, snakcs, sticks, summer sausage ans pemmican. The chicken is just as good as the beef. Don and Mary are at their booth every weekend and they will give you samples until you find one you like. The prices are good and I always get the 4 four $25. It just does not last. I purchased the beef summer sausage with cheese and peppers. It was fantastic! I bought it at the swap meet in Mesa Arizona. So good!

Their beef pemmican is not great at all. It has good flavor, but some of the things that are in the beef are a bad texture. It's like chewing on some good beef sticks but biting into a little bit of sand with every bite. I don't know where that texture is coming from, but it will keep me from getting more and probably from finishing the stick I opened. read more
