I recently had my hair highlighted with Brianna C. Before getting my hair done by her, I had talked to her about what I was trying to achieve with my hair. She said that she could get my hair close to the photo. I told her over and over that I didn't want my hair to be toned dark because she had toned it dark in the past. I told her before the appointment and during the appointment. She ended up toning my hair dark, and left me with darker ends in comparison to the rest of the hair. After talking to her about how dissatisfied I was with my hair. She told me to come back and suggested a clarifying shampoo treatment to remove some of the toner. I ended up going back for the clarifying treatment and the toner did not lift the ends. That day she told me she didn't have time to re-highlight the ends so that I would need to come back again and make another appointment. I then contacted her to make the appointment and she told me that I would have to pay to get my hair highlighted again. I explained to her that I did not feel comfortable paying for the same service twice, since it was her error. I didn't hear back from her. Days later, she texted that she spoke to her "boss", I am assuming the salon owner and that she said it would not be complementary only toner. Moral of the story, don't go to this salon and expect to get what you want because they will not stand behind their work if they make a mistake. They will expect you to pay again for them to "hopefully" fix it. And don't be like me and pay them if you are unsatisfied before leaving the salon. People like this will do what's in their best interest, so learn to say no I am not paying you as I am not satisfied with your service. You shouldn't have to pay someone twice if they made a mistake, the right thing for them to do is to fix it or refund you!

This was my first time here (I was given a gift certificate for my birthday) and my primary reason for getting a facial was to get my blackheads and overall congestion extracted which I mentioned when I made my appointment, and at the beginning of my facial. Unfortunately I got very little extraction during my service, a lot of massage and a suggestion to book a series of treatments to address my concerns (generally my breakouts are stress related). Quite honestly my skin looks the same; and I will be booking a facial with my typically esthetician in Revere, MA to reduce the congestion I'm experiencing. While not every breakout is ready to be extracted, and my light sensitivity should be considered, I do have quite a bit of congestion on both cheeks, my chin and in between my eyebrows, that could have extracted and typically are when I receive facials at my regular esthetician. My top suggestions to improve: 1.) prioritize extraction on the areas the client is concerned with and distort time to these concerns so your client feels heard and 2.) use more pressure during the massage portion as the gentle pressure wasn't as relaxing as it could have been (on a scale of 1-5, pressure was a 2).
