A great little find in Dallas on our way to WB. Friendly college kids and an array of bagels and cream cheese. Lots of seasonal goodies. Great little bagel shop. From the outside it doesn't seem like there'd be much seating - but there's a good amount for the space, though it seems like most people are ordering to go or picking up anyway. The assortment of bagels and cream cheeses is astounding - I love all the options and I wanted to try them all. Aside from bagels/breakfast sandwich options, there were also brownies, baklava, cinnamon rolls and a couple of other pastry-like options. We got a cinnamon roll to go, it was fantastic! read more

On the way back from a trip my friend and I stopped at Bagel Art to cure our massive hangovers. The staff here were SO NICE and their fresh squeezed orange juice is a must. I not only had a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel but also a bagel with cream cheese (look, my soul needed nourishing, OK?). This was the perfect place to stop after a long night of drinking. Their caramel latte was also shockingly creamy and delicious. NO COMPLAINTS!! read more

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling through the area. We ordered an everything bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese and a jalapeño cheddar melt bagel with scallion cream cheese to split. The sandwich was hot and delicious and the egg was perfectly seasoned. The bagel melt was the standout though. It was so good! Local places like this are the reason that we avoid the turnpike. Best bagels in town. Whether it's just getting a dozen or ordering breakfast sandwiches, you can't go wrong. They also have lunch. Fresh squeezed oj is great. Bathrooms are just ok. Ambiance is like a corner deli. Bakery items are great. Sometimes when busy service gets backed up. Weekend mornings are busy. read more

A college student coming from NJ, these bagels are by far the best bagels I have had in the NEPA area. Along with all their great bagels, they have many cream cheese spreads to pair with those bagels that are equally as good. If you don't want a bagel with cream cheese, they have many different breakfast/lunch options that are also very good vary from morning BLTs to turkey club sandwiches! Away from their bagels, their staff is on top of their game, they were eager to serve me and efficient at making what I asked for. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. read more

Bagel Art has sooo many spread options, but no vegan spread option. Wish they could add hummus to the selection as an affordable spread for people who are dairy free. I was offered a bagel with no spread and just vegetables (the workers were giving me their best vegan option and I appreciate that but)... It was so dry and unfortunately not enjoyable at all. I know being vegan makes eating out more limited in this area but even for people who might be dairy free, this would definitely not be the place to go. I have been frequenting Bagel Art for many years. Everything is so fresh and prepared upon ordering. Personally I like the ham, egg and cheese. My kids enjoy the bagels with various cream cheese flavors. Last week they featured Kit Kat. I often order a fresh squeezed orange juice as well. The staff is prompt and very attentive. We've eaten their bagels and bagel sandwiches for years, and have to say these are the best bagels we've found in northeast pa to date. They make whitefish salad which is absolutely delicious, but the tuna and egg salads are also excellent. There are also different cream cheese spreads, all fantastic. Highly recommended! read more

I came here for a bagel with cream cheese and a fresh squeezed orange juice. I was expecting a New York style bagel but I seriously wasn't expecting it to be as good. My expectations were too high. I wouldn't even call this a bagel. It was more of a roll that was shaped like a bagel. A bagel should be dense with a nice semi hard exterior which comes from boiling the bagel after the proofing is complete. I was extremely disappointed. The sun dried tomato cream cheese was pretty good and the orange juice was fantastic although fairly pricey but if you are looking for a good bagel, you'll be disappointed. read more

If you're a young college student looking for a place to work for some decent pay and kind coworkers, than bagel art is definitely NOT the place for you. worked here for about 6 weeks and they were easily the worst 6 weeks of my entire life. Where should I start? I'll begin by saying I suffer from ocular migraines, which is a key part pf the story later on. I woke up one morning before my shift to a HORRIBLE ocular migraine and nause/vomiting. I'll preface this by saying it was 8:00am and my shift started at 9:30. I called bagel art to say that I wouldn't be coming in. my coworker who answered said she would tell the owner I wasn't coming in and hoped I would feel better soon (which was very nice of her!). I spent the rest of the day relaxing and trying to feel better as I had no classes that day and I had another shift scheduled for the next day (9:00 to 12:30). I wake up the next day still not feeling the greatest but much better so I go into work. I show up 20 minutes before my shift to get bagels for the rest of my family and planned on dropping them in my mom's car and then going back in for my shift. The owner saw me in line ordering and went absolutely BALLISTIC on me. He started screaming at me for being in line and saying that I was here to work, not to take advantage of the employee discounts we receive. I tried My best to explain to him That I was just getting food for my family, but he kept cutting me off. eventually he said "just drop off the food with your family and then get back in here. I have to speak to you, you're in HUGE trouble young lady". Of course I start freaking out because I want to know what I've done wrong. I drop the bagels off with my mom and head back inside. the owner asks me if this is my first job, and I say no. He proceeds to harass and make fun of me and says I act like it's my first job and that I keep making mistakes and that I'm a bad worker. I do my best to not cry in front of him and head to the front to start my shift. Later I have to run to the back to get some more breakfast sausage. I would like to mention that there were about 8 of us working that day and there were only 3 of us in the front, which isn't a lot of people considering it was a Saturday and Saturdays are the busiest day of the week. I go to the back to find not only my coworkers, but also the owner and his son making fun of my medical condition. They were all mimicking me vomiting and making fun of my migraines. I ignored them and continued my shift. A few minutes later my coworker Theresa comes to the front and starts a whole "oh your life must be SO horrible. poor baby Morgan had to call off because of a migraine. I've still come into work even when I had a migraine!". I found this really unprofessional and continued working. From here things just kept getting worse. The owners son was always spying on people over the security cameras and constantly nitpicking every little thing that the employees did. One day I decided to confide in him some things that were being said about me behind my back. He proceeds to tell me to stop being a "tattlerat" and tells me that no one at bagel art liked me anyways. I then go 3 WEEKS without a single shift. I contact bagel art multiple times with no response. So as a last resort I text and ask about my paycheck, and am very rudely told OVER TEXT that I am to turn in my shirt and collect my final check. I was being FIRED after no shifts for 3 weeks and no communication on their part. Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed with the actions taken in part of the owners. if they see this (which I hope they do), I want them to know that they've made me EXTREMELY upset and that they really do need to work on their professionalism. It's poor and weak at BEST. read more

Huge disappointment in the product and the customer service. We come here every time we visit family in the area. It's always been good until now. We ordered 6 different bagel sandwiches and all of them had cream cheese melting and sliding right off. They were a big mess since the bagel was too hot. To top it off, the employees seem so miserable! Not a good morning, hello, will that be all, order number, or any way to tell me our order was done. All the girls just seem unhappy to be there. Decided to stop in this morning for some bagels and thought it would be a good idea to purchase the Verizon coupon they have listed through the Verizon smart rewards program. These coupons once purchased are only valid for 10 minutes so they are purchased and viewed at the time of check out. Coupon stated "one free conplimentry menu item when you purchase another menu item up to a maximum of $5." I had ordered a $3.99 item and a $4.65 item. To my suprise they refused to accept the coupon after I had already purchased it while checking out. They stated that I would have to purchase a single item that was over $5 and the other being under $5. However, their breakfast menu item is fairly limited and as a result I would have had to purchase another item that I did not want at the time for the coupon to work. I was pretty put off by their lax attitudes on that I could come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. If you have coupons out, please make sure all of your employees are aware of them so they are not driving people away from your business. read more

I've always had a good experience here...they have a pretty good amount of cream cheese and bagels. Make sure you get here early, they start to run out of bagels in the after noon and they close at 3. Don't forget to try their juices, they are delicious and fresh! The bagels are delicious, but their prices are so expensive that I only have one as an every once in a while treat. A bagel with cream cheese and small coffee costs close to $5.00 (or maybe even more than $5 now). Not realistic for an every morning breakfast stop unless you're rich. Plus, I think they skimp on the cream cheese :( I give it 3 stars because their bagels are so good though...closes thing to NYC bagels in quality that I've been able to find since moving here. We love Bagel Art! If you get the flavored cream cheeses, yes it is pricey in terms of getting a toasted bagel elsewhere... but have you ever had a bagel from Dunkin Donuts? They are terrible! Hard and not hot enough to melt the butter and they have a weird smell.... I would rather pay a little extra to enjoy a fresh bagel with house made flavored cream cheese! My favorites are the cheddar bacon, wiyh real pieces of cheese and bacon throughout it, and also the apple cinnamon is great on a french toast bagel! If you are going at a highly popular breakfast time it gets busy, but they are diligent at getting to each customer as soon as they can. If you are in a hurry you can call ahead and they will have it ready. read more

Ok. Moving here from North Jersey, I had hoped to find a decent bagel. Well, the quality of the bagel is not bad. A little too soft with not quite enough chew. If that were the only qualm, then I could live with it...However, everything is as if the bagels were dusted with gold. 3 dollars for a bagel with cream cheese is about double what it should cost. The breakfast sandwiches feature some form of microwaved eggs....why? eggs take about 90 seconds to cook on a griddle and taste about 500 times better. To put it in perspective, these prices are not unlike the prices you are handcuffed into paying at the airport. Lower your prices and your business will multiply. read more
