Where do I start? I ordered a salami hoagie with extra meat, a pepper shooter, and fries for delivery. Everything was packaged well. The fries probably would have been better if I picked them up instead of delivery, but they were still pretty good. The pepper shooter was a symphony of flavor, like mouth fireworks. I absolutely have to get the Jameseppi next. As you can see, my hoagie was MASSIVE. This is the only deli I can find on this stupid mountain that will just pile a bunch of Boar's Head Genoa on some bread for you. Just get food here. Recommended by one of my guys so tried it out and it did not disappoint! Got the Italian hoagie and dang was it filling, took half of it home. Also, the onion rings with the spicy ranch sauce... talk about mouth watering! The sauce could be used on anything and definitely had great flavor with a kick. Lovely place. We went here only because GPS wanted to take the long way back to route 80. Pretty quiet and looks real clean. They were busy though with phone orders and probably Uber. After hearing a great deal about this spot I was finally able to get in and give them a try. I know a lot of people who have strong opinions about food and they all said they loved it here so I was eager to see if I agreed or not. So...I did. The owner gave me a sample of their buffalo blue chicken pasta salad to start...not a bad way to be welcomed in somewhere huh? The chicken was not dry and the flavors of the buffalo and the blue cheese both came through nicely without anything being overpowering. I would definitely order this as a side dish on future trips in, and trust me, there are going to be future trips in. For my sandwich I went with the "Nick's Pick", just made too much sense right? Even if it didn't have the owners name on it though, this was the one that jumped out immediately to me. Chicken Cutlets, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and "Big Belly Sauce" (which I found out was a house made variation of big mac sauce with some added horseradish) on a seeded semolina roll. All of this is 100% up my alley so the decision was a no brainer. A few things I would say to be prepared for is firstly, these are not the chicken cutlets you're used to getting if you normally order a sandwich like this from NY or NJ. That's not necessarily a bad thing by any means, just don't expect that Italian seasoned bread crumb and super thin cutlets. These are hand dredged and fried to order though and they have a nice crispy crunch to them. Secondly, this sandwich is massive. I'm a big boy and I was effective at eating exactly half before tapping out. Lastly, ask them to melt the Pepper Jack if you want it melted. That would be the literal ONLY knock I could provide on this sandwich at all is that the cheese wasn't melted. It's a preference thing and that might be how 99/100 people prefer it, but next time I'll personally ask for it melted. This place is absolutely incredible and a much needed addition to the poconos. There hasn't been a solid deli and sandwich shop ever that I can recall. The owner Nick is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Had the privilege to tour his shop and learn about his career in the food industry. Now onto the food.... The breakfast bowls are super filling and a mound of fried homefries, eggs, bacon, and cheese. The sandwich creations are awesome - particularly the cuban! So good. There is even a new haven style pizza oven in the deli!!!! Next time I have to try the burgers, wings, pizza. There is a mac and cheese competition today at Camelback and Nick was nice enough to invite me in at 9am to get a sampling of his product. It was no question best mac and cheese I've ever had. I will be coming here everytime I'm in the poconos (typically every two months or so). Can't say enough good things about Nick and his deli. read more

Yo, whew, this is the spot. I stopped in after a workout, and man, what a choice. We had a cheesesteak with onion rings, the McCormick, chocolate cannoli cake, Zimmerman iced tea, and jelly-filled cookies. First, the staff was fun, polite, and attentive. The space is clean and spacious, and the chairs are perfect for this spot. The portions are generous too, so don't let the price get you out somewhere else that you will. I mean, you will regret not stopping here. These chairs lean back so you can eat and eat and eat and not get up. The cheesesteak had a great flavor and was juicy, perfect for that not-too-soggy bread at the end. The onion rings are crispy, not over-breaded or over-fried, and break quickly with a bite. The sauce is excellent but has too lovely heat at the end. As a Texas-learned BBQ smoker, McCormick sandwich hit it right. So as someone who likes their pork with vinegar and salt(yup, from the Carolinas, I am), this sweet pork butt with the mac n cheese on top was, awww, man in my belly lip smacking, gotta take a nap portion significant. The chocolate cannoli cake was just that. The frosting was thick chocolate, not sugary or whipped, but that was great. I recommend you get the cake to go so it sits for 10-15 min at room temperature, and you get all the goodness it offers. Nick, man, you did it right here, thanks. I also want to note that the items to drink and pre-packaged desserts were from small businesses. The joes lemonade from Elizabeth, NJ, Zimmerman iced tea a blast from my humble Pocono beginnings and the filled cookies from Saddle Brook NJ. It's nice to see this, and it's appreciated. read more

Picked up lunch from this place when we were staying at a local resort. Tried it based off of excellent reviews. It did not disappoint. My husband's sandwich was huge! He could only finish half. I ordered a salad and added chicken and shrimp. It was big and delicious. My only recommendation is to indicate how many shrimp are in an order when you add it to the salad. I would have scaled it down but I wasn't sure how much was included. Ordered online and food was ready when we arrived. We have been hearing so much positive hype about this relatively new local business...so we were anxious to give it a try. We came late afternoon on a Monday, and we had not eaten anything so we arrived good and hungry (which I recommend because the portions are ample and live up to the name!) The menu has many choices so we took a few minutes to make our selections. I commented to my husband that the soup of the day was his fave and, overhearing this, Nick thrust a sample of the New England clam chowder our way to give it a taste test. It was fresh and creamy and buttery and brimming with briny-sweet clams. A cup was added to our order on the spot following that sample! I had "The Sphar" which was a shredded roast pork sandwich loaded with roasted red peppers and spinach. (I asked for side of hot peppers because I like to spice things up). The meat was so moist and juicy and it was all held together with melted provolone. My husband got the "Dilly, Dilly" (grilled roast beef, Swiss cheese, bacon, horsey sauce and pickles). The griddled beef (Boar's Head) was great and the sauce and pickles really popped. Both sandwiches were served on semolina garlic bread. Nick told us he has it delivered from NJ daily. According to my husband "you can put an old shoe on that bread and it would be delicious." He's not wrong. The restaurant was clean and bright, the service came with a smile, and we look forward to becoming regulars. read more
