I was hesitant, but once me and Teddy, my dog, got inside. We came across several other pet owners. That's pretty cool! Teddy and I walked the length of the mall while my partner did her shopping. This is one of those high-end malls! But they also had some very good food vendors in the hallways where I got the majority of my snacks and I even got some snacks for Teddy. I was hoping the cute little dog park on the outside would be available to us, but it didn't open until 2:00 p.m. And we were at the mall fairly early. It was a great visit because most of the employees were dog friendly! I'll definitely have to make a trip back to this mall without a dog.

Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. Today, June 6, 2026, at approximately 2:45 p.m., I visited your store with the intention of purchasing a new Blancpain X Swatch watch. Additionally, I brought along an older Swatch watch that I have owned for many years. I am a passionate watch enthusiast and collector; my personal collection ranges from Swatch to luxury brands such as Bell & Ross, Cartier, Panerai, and Rolex. The Swatch watch in question was a gift I bought for my son years ago, aiming to inspire his own love for horology. The watch needed a new strap, so I asked the sales associate if he had a replacement. He informed me they did not have the exact match but offered to try a similar one. To do this, he removed the spring bar. Unfortunately, the alternative strap did not fit. When he attempted to put the watch back together as it originally was, he used improper technique and bent the spring bar. My complaint is not primarily about the associate's mistake. I understand that accidents can happen to personnel who may lack proper training. In fact, he attempted to push the pin against the wall right in front of me, and the misplaced force inevitably bent it. While it is frustrating that the store did not carry a spare part to fix what they had just broken--leaving my watch in worse condition than when I arrived--the associate at least felt remorseful and even offered to pay for it out of his own pocket. The real issue, and the reason for my profound indignation, was the unacceptable behavior of the store manager. When I calmly brought the damage to her attention, her response was to shout at me and threaten me, simply because I was pointing out that they had damaged my property. As a long-time customer, I find this completely shocking for three main reasons: Lack of Training: A Swatch store should not employ staff who lack the basic technical training to handle minor watch repairs safely. Lack of Resources: The store did not have basic spare parts to immediately resolve damage caused by their own employee's poor practices. Abuse from Management: The most unacceptable part of this experience was being subjected to a manager who was rude, discourteous, and threatening toward me, the aggrieved customer. Faced with this hostile environment, I chose to take my damaged watch and leave. I did not feel safe or well-treated, and I am not accustomed to engaging in low-class, confrontational arguments. I am a long-time, loyal Alo customer, which is why this experience at the Aventura location is so disappointing. I've shopped at other Alo stores like Merrick Park and the Design District, and the customer service there is excellent and aligns with the brand's premium image. Unfortunately, the Aventura location does not meet that standard at all. I originally purchased the red Accolade set online, but sizing varies across colors. I own multiple sets in medium and large that fit similarly, so I ordered a large in red but it arrived extremely oversized. When I went to exchange it, I was told the red collection had already been sent back on March 12, so I couldn't exchange for the same item. I then exchanged for the Airbrush Sparks Fly Corset Onesie (size small), assuming it would fit like other Alo onesies I own. It did not--the chest area runs much smaller--so I had to return it. I had used a $25 Alo coupon on my original purchase, and that credit carried over to my new purchase. When I came to the Aventura location to exchange the onesie for the Serenity Oatmeal set, I simply asked if the $25 could be applied so I wouldn't lose the benefit. My purchase was going to be over $500 (set, socks, hat), so this was a reasonable request. Instead, I received extremely poor customer service from both the manager, Alondra, and the general manager, Kenny. Alondra was dismissive, passive-aggressive, and spoke in a condescending tone. She made false claims about my account, stating I had multiple returns and referencing issues with lost packages none of which is true. I had just made that purchase in-store at Merrick Park with no issues, so this information was inaccurate and concerning. When I asked to speak with the general manager, Kenny, the situation did not improve. He displayed the same attitude and made no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the misinformation stated by the first manager .There was no professionalism, no accountability, and no attempt to provide a solution. Because of how I was treated, I chose not to complete my $500+ purchase and left the store. That sale was lost entirely due to management's behavior. After this experience, I reviewed other feedback for this location and saw similar complaints about poor customer service. This appears to be a pattern. For a brand that sells $100+ clothing and markets itself as premium, the customer experience at this location does not match the brand at all. Customers should not be spoken down to, dismissed, or misrepresented when spending their money. I will not return to the Aventura location, and this experience has made me seriously reconsider supporting the Alo brand moving forward.

The wife dragged me into this packed clothing store to find me a long sleeve hoodie. A good variety of high quality garments at the $150.00 range, which is slightly out of my comfort zone but the wife insisted I find something nice. The staff member advised that most of the hoodies do not exceed the XL sizing which sadly rules out the opportunity to find one for me.
