Heel got caught in a sidewalk and messed up the cork + material on one heel. I tried 2 other shops with different shoes and was so disappointed. This one had a lot of reviews within the past year so I decided to take a chance - so happy I did! They applied new corks to both and fixed the material within 10 min! From afar, can't even tell something was wrong. Even up close, you can't tell. Reasonably priced and the customer service was great! Can't wait to bring more pairs with other issues and see how they solve the problem but for now, I'm happy! read more

I have been a loyal customer for years and because I didn't come and get my shoes in their set amount of time (that was NEVER disclosed to me), they sold them, to someone else, I'm CERTAIN at a profit. I cannot believe these immoral people are still in business. AND they wouldn't even give me my deposit back. They never called OR sent me a text saying that my shoes were at risk of be long sold to someone else if I did not come and get them. ABSOLUTE sham. I guess times are tough and they're looking to make money any way they can. Please avoid these crooks. I have recommended them to so many people in the past, everyone people I worked with in Aventura, and this is how they treat a viable, paying customers. Shoe Repair Plus is located in the Nordstrom Rack/Marshall's shopping center right on Biscayne, right off Ives Dairy. It's located a few businesses to the right of the Chuck E Cheese. I needed to have some dress shoes polished, so I stopped in on a Saturday to drop them off. Their hours on Saturday are until 4, so just be sure to plan accordingly. When I entered, a guy at the countered greeted me warmly, asked how he could help. Told him I needed to drop off some shoes for polishing, and he asked me when I needed them by. Told him I could pick them up the following weekend. He told me it would be $12 and provided me with a ticket to pick them up. By Tuesday,I received a text saying they're ready and I stopped by on Wednesday and was warmly greeted by the same gentleman that helped me prior. My shoes were ready and he showed them time to ensure they looked ok. Overall truly amazing experience, I highly recommend for any of your leather shoe or bag polishing needs! read more

The shop I used to visit ruined two of my favorite shoes, so today I decided to drive around and do my own research... I'm glad I did because I found this shoe repair shop. This shop is family owned, the family has been in the business since 1977, and this particular store has been there for almost 30 years. The minute i entered I felt welcomed, I was assisted by Woby, he asked me about the shoes, and answered all my questions. He was respectful, cordial and i was very surprised by his attentiveness and hospitable service. He suggested me to change the soles and told me they could get my shoes repaired in 3 days. While I was paying for the repair Woby told me about the plus service, he mentioned they also fix luggage and make various accessories repairs like leather belts, bags, designer shoes and more so I asked him about jackets. He told me they need to see it but more certainly they do. I have consulted with 2 different tailors. The first one told me that she won't be able to fix my broken zipper and the second one told me to order the zipper online and bring it to her so she will try to fix it $$$ BUT after talking to Woby he told me that maybe Nick can fix it. Nick looked at my zipper and told me that he could. I asked him how long would it take him and he asked me to give him a couple of minutes and voila!!!! he fixed my favorite jacket. I'm so so happy!!!! this jacket has been with me for years, many memories. Travelled all the way to Japan and back so I'm very grateful for the service and the help I received today. I will recommend everyone to visit this shop, the service is wonderful, they also sell many accessories. They have many years of experience and they provide an Extraordinary service. I came to this cobbler to get a pair of Christian louboutins reinforced with a rubber sole. This was my first cobbler experience and it was pretty pleasant. The store itself is pretty small and there's also a tailor portioned off to the right. My shoes were completed the day I dropped them off and the total was $38 . By extremely, I mean extremely. I always take my clothing elsewhere as much as I would like to get both my shoes and clothing done in one shop. I have never written a review before, i usually just take it as lesson learned. But i thought i would save people some time. Seems all they can do is superglue your broken shoes. I was shocked when i just picked up my shoe that the stitching had came loose. I said to the repair guy you were unable to get it to look the same as the other side. And he told me he thought it did. But in reality i could have easily done what he did. Now i will have to replace all the stitching because it is soaked in glue and hard. Very disappointing. I had a fantastic experience at Shoe Repair Plus. First of all, when I called, Nick, who I think is the owner, answered in a very friendly tone and patiently answered my questions. When I got to the shop, the very same Nick looked up and addressed me right away. Sometimes you go to these little shops and they're very curt and dismissive with you. It was refreshing to be treated nicely! I showed Nick my (inexpensive) shoes, and he very honestly told me which ones were worth saving, and which ones weren't. "I don't want you to throw money into a pair of shoes that are gonna fall apart after a month or two anyway" he said. I bought a few accessories from the shop - and Nick installed them, essentially, with free labor. He even threw in a bonus when I came to pick them up. Who does that?! I wasn't even a big-spending client. It just seemed like they genuinely wanted to do the most that they could for a client. Will be backkkk with all my shoe needs. read more

I wish I can give negative ratings. I just would like to give a warning out to the ladies and gents to please do not bring your designer shoes here!! Long story short, I bought a brand new pair of Valentino kitten shoes from the boutique and wanted to add a non slip and protective wear to the bottom of the shoes. These were brand new never worn. This place also came recommended from friends and from the mall. I didn't expect to get my shoes back in worse shape than when I brought them. There was brown "paint" and glue along the sides of shoes and on my rockstuds and along the top of shoes (?). Also that is not the worse part. That part I cleaned off myself, but It should've never been there, the worse part is that there is "nick" a cut in the front tip of my shoes! These were brand new, not only was the job sloppy but there is a cut in the leather of my $1000 shoe. Unacceptable and unprofessional!! After showing the manager, he says, it's a minimal cut and nothing he can do about it. It should not even have been there in the first place. If you can't do the job right, than don't do the job in the first place. I have shown the shoes to the shoe repair team at Valentino boutique in bal Harbour, which they were wonderful to talk too, (they only take repairs and not brand new shoes) but they have also mentioned to me that the job was not good and extremely bad. So please people stay clear of this place, and bring your cheap shoes if you must but not your designer goods. They are not worth it to get ruined.
