I decided to use CarGurus and AutoTrader phone apps as my primary search options. Looked at and test drove a bunch of options... Hyundai Veloster, Mazda M3, Toyota Matrix, Kia Soul, and Honda Element. Definitely nothing extravagant. Problem with used cars is finding cars with minimal issues. Look for good price but how much work will it need AFTER you buy it?? And used car dealers, are they keen on customer service? Most are not and have definitely met some rude ones during our search too. So our quest took us to ERNIE'S AUTO SALES in Chula Vista, because a car they Listed on CarGurus looked appealing. Being that it would be a bit of a drive for us, we needed to call ahead to get some details. Here, someone actually answered the phone promptly. THANK YOU! We spoke with Mr. Mario over the phone. "How's this? How's that? Blah, blah, blah". Not once once did he sound irritated, very respectful throughout. Told us "this is a good car, 9/10. And I've been in this business a long time!" Well sure enough, he was spot on, when we came to peep things out. Friendly greeting and cordial interaction the whole time. We wanted the car, and Mr. Mario and Mr. Ernie were both reasonable chaps as we worked the details out with them. No after market nonsense added in. Nice thing is that they wanted make sure everything was up to snuff before We drove it off. So we had to come back a few days later. They kept their word on everything they said. There was even a warranty offered with our car and when we found a few issues, the warranty was honored without issue. I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER the way this experience went. Thank you Gentlemen! It was a pleasure! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! If they have a car you are interested in, definitely worth your time! ;)

No issues with Desiree at the Euclid location. I greeted Sandra today, didn't even acknowledge or welcome me as a customer. The reason is because I came in to cash a $85 check and Sandra was literally giving me $8,500 without even verifying the check nor even contacting her manager to let her know. I had told her, what are you doing the check is only $85, Sandra didn't even acknowledge and say it was as her fault . That was one of the 3 times she's had an attitude with me. Today's experience was horrible, I really wish I hadn't come in to this location at all! She was literally yelling through the glass while I was telling her how bad her service is. I really don't need to get into detail, I just need to share my experience and hope this gets settled. I am not happy with Sandra at all!!!! Unfortunately, I was initially going to give a glowing review for the discounted money orders that I received last month for 25 cent each. Then come this month to find the price raised and had to pay $5 for using a payment method other than cash. Completely the opposite of saving money, when Wally World (aka Wal-mart) charges $1 and no fee for using your debit card. Will no longer be coming here for money services.

I grew up in the south bay and passed by their shop all the time, but this was my first visit. I was told they've been in business for 40+ years. Chris greeted me, took the V for an initial test drive and went to work. I enjoy working on cars and Chris brought me along every step of the way. He's super knowledgeable. He broke down the issues with the V and how he was going to fix them. He adjusted the alignment on the ol' AWD and suggested some of the other suspension parts I should think about replacing, which I appreciated. Now the V is driving as straight as an arrow. Ledezma's will be my go to spot for all alignment and suspension needs.

The family of Bahia Auto Sales were so WONDERFUL to me that I'm not sure I can put it in words! I had been searching for a vehicle for over 2 months after being hit from behind on the freeway. A friend was super gracious and felt led to help me out with half the cost. We went to Bahia looking for a specific vehicle that wasn't on the lot because they had been kind to another customer and had lent it out. We were shown another one that was out of our price range but the owner over the phone said he would sell it lower, but it was still over the amount we had on hand. We checked it out anyway and found a couple things wrong. They said they would have it fixed, still for the same price. After a test drive, the owner showed up and had a conversation with my friend and her husband. When he heard they were helping me because of my struggles, he decided he wanted to do the same. He brought the price down again AND helped me get a great warranty!!! The family of Bahia were Super Nice, Considerate, and Amazing with all they did to help me get an Awesome vehicle I never thought I could afford!!! Out of all the vehicles I looked at, this was the cleanest and nicest looking one I saw on all the used lots. They take pride in the appearance of the vehicles they sell. read more

Today I went in to look around and window shop for my next car and to my surprise left with a 2013 Volkswagen CC. This is my second car I've gotten from there, my first car was a 2009 Dodge Nitro and it never gave me a problem. I by far recommend this car dealership each of the employees working there have amazing customer service and look like they really enjoy their job they'll also do what they can to get you in the car you want! If you do go in talk to Nissim he helped me with both of my car purchases. He definitely knows what he's doing and overall he's an amazing guy. I'll definitely be back in the future for my third car. From the moment I called them to driving out the lot. I had an amazing experience. They picked me up at work with the car I wanted!! The test drive was awesome. Nissim the finance manager and the rest of the team were very professional and above all very sincere in the way they talked to you. I had an outstanding experience at Grand Motors and Omar exceeded every expectation. Why? I'd been searching for a specific car for over two month, even considering buying out of state. When the exact model popped up just 10 miles away, I contacted Omar to confirm it was available. He was responsive, opened the store on Labor Day, and immediately welcomed us in, despite having other customers (it was shocking because no other surrounding dealerships were open that day) The car matched everything I'd been looking for, with only minor cosmetic wear, and the entire process was smooth and pressure-free and I mean it. I wasn't even looking to trade in my car unless the numbers made sense, but Omar offered a reasonable trade-in value on my car that aligned with other dealers and even secured a better interest rate than the franchise dealerships I visited. The transaction was transparent, efficient, and completed in under 2 hours! I've always spent more than 4 hours each time I've made a purchase. It was amazing and smooth honestly. Omar delivered exactly what he promised and earned my trust. I'm happy with my purchase and will absolutely return for future vehicles. None of the doors had the same vin as the actual car, indicating they switched parts likely due to an accident. A few weeks after purchasing, the Ford dealership I took my car to be inspected by declared the car a lemon. The wiring was messed up, the transmission was failing, the doors wouldn't stay locked, and there was a recall (I was not informed about - super illegal) where the hood would randomly unlatch and slam the windshield while you're driving. The only positive from this horrible experience was now I'm eager to learn about cars so I don't almost die in one again! My Ford Fiesta completely shut off while driving down the 67 highway in Ramona. I had to get towed and I tasted death that day. I let them repo it and just got it written off my credit report instead of suing with the insane amount of proof I had against them - but reading others reviews, I did the right thing. They are shady dealers like you'd expect from a TV show. Now fast forward to 2022 - they never completed the paperwork to say I don't own the car. The IRS has been taking registration fees for a car that likely isn't even functional. I filled out a transfer of ownership and did everything I needed to do but now I'm awaiting a refund for the money I supposedly owed to the DMV and this disgusting dealership for a car that almost took my life. :) Good thing I saved every piece of evidence and can get my money back, unlike some unlucky people in these reviews. & Daniel, who claimed to be the manager at the time was very condescending and rude to me. Everytime I came down to try and fix things, he would ignore me. He ignored my multiple emails and gave me a fake phone number to call for help. Do not buy a car here unless you know exactly what to look for and can somehow persuade them to not scam you.

I decided to use CarGurus and AutoTrader phone apps as my primary search options. Looked at and test drove a bunch of options... Hyundai Veloster, Mazda M3, Toyota Matrix, Kia Soul, and Honda Element. Definitely nothing extravagant. Problem with used cars is finding cars with minimal issues. Look for good price but how much work will it need AFTER you buy it?? And used car dealers, are they keen on customer service? Most are not and have definitely met some rude ones during our search too. So our quest took us to ERNIE'S AUTO SALES in Chula Vista, because a car they Listed on CarGurus looked appealing. Being that it would be a bit of a drive for us, we needed to call ahead to get some details. Here, someone actually answered the phone promptly. THANK YOU! We spoke with Mr. Mario over the phone. "How's this? How's that? Blah, blah, blah". Not once once did he sound irritated, very respectful throughout. Told us "this is a good car, 9/10. And I've been in this business a long time!" Well sure enough, he was spot on, when we came to peep things out. Friendly greeting and cordial interaction the whole time. We wanted the car, and Mr. Mario and Mr. Ernie were both reasonable chaps as we worked the details out with them. No after market nonsense added in. Nice thing is that they wanted make sure everything was up to snuff before We drove it off. So we had to come back a few days later. They kept their word on everything they said. There was even a warranty offered with our car and when we found a few issues, the warranty was honored without issue. I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER the way this experience went. Thank you Gentlemen! It was a pleasure! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! If they have a car you are interested in, definitely worth your time! ;)

From the initial phone call until I picked it up, the crew at SB Autohaus explained everything they found, the work they needed my approval for to move forward and the detailed pricing that I should expect to see on the invoice. My car sat in my driveway for a couple years bc it was just cheaper to drive my Honda. When I took it in there was some type of leak, the brake fluid was sludge, my wipers were cracked and crusty. They kept my car for two days and replaced all the tubes and fluids that needed replacing. I was pretty adamant about getting new brakes but they said no, drive it around first because there was still a good amount of padding and I wouldn't need brakes for a while still. No upselling, no pushy "you might need this and this and this" like other places, just a clear and concise description of what needs to be done and a checklist of what to look out for in the future. After this experience there are two things I do know - I will probably buy another Benz bc of it's reliability and once it's out of the original factory warranty, I'll take it to SB Autohaus for Service A & B and whatever else needs repair.

Compared to the dealership, their prices are a great value. I had originally planned to have the work done at the dealership, but after learning about their 20% first-time customer discount, I decided to give them a try. Initially, I only needed my brake pads replaced. However, my car started displaying battery warnings, and both AutoZone and my Mercedes-Benz advisor confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced as well. Since I was already planning to come here for the pads I decided to have both services done here. I dropped my vehicle off around 2:00 PM, and it was ready by 9:00 AM the following morning, which was a very quick turnaround. My only concern came after reviewing the invoice. The total seemed higher than I expected, and after taking a closer look, I realized I had been charged a diagnostic fee for the battery. When I mentioned the warning messages, the staff said they would "check it out." Had I been told they would do a diagnostic to confirm and charge for that, I would have declined it and simply proceeded with the replacement. That said, this experience would not stop me from returning or recommending this shop. The service was professional, the staff was friendly, and the work was completed quickly. My only suggestion is that if you already know exactly what service your vehicle needs, make that very clear upfront so they don't run a diagnostic that is not needed.
