I installed new coilovers, upper control arms, and cv axels in my wife's 2001 Honda CR-V and it was in desperate need of an alignment. The steering wheel was not straight and the V was pulling hard to the right. I did a quick internet search and decided to pay a visit to Ledezma's Muffler and Alignment, and I'm glad I did. I grew up in the south bay and passed by their shop all the time, but this was my first visit. I was told they've been in business for 40+ years. Chris greeted me, took the V for an initial test drive and went to work. I enjoy working on cars and Chris brought me along every step of the way. He's super knowledgeable. He broke down the issues with the V and how he was going to fix them. He adjusted the alignment on the ol' AWD and suggested some of the other suspension parts I should think about replacing, which I appreciated. Now the V is driving as straight as an arrow. I'm just a loud guy, which maybe intimidated her. honestly so disappointed, please take your business elsewhere this place is not worth it. It's also located in a horrible area with little to no access. you have to drive on a dirt driveway and pray your car doesn't get hit by on coming traffic on the way out. Let me start off by saying, I usually do the work myself when it comes to my car. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. The previous night before I found this find this shop, I decided to try and install my new Invidia q300 Catback myself, but stupidly stripped one of the bolts connected to the catalytic converter and had no tools to remove the damn thing. I decided enough is enough and browsed yelp for a nearby muffler shop and found "ladezma." At first there were two locations that popped up; which turns out they are owned by the same family. All in all, a $75 installation for basic labor turned into $95 which isn't bad seeing as he had to weld a bolt and torch the existing bolt off that I stripped. i always bring my friends to this shop and i've brought my car here 3-4 times this year for certain things. they charge higher than other shops but i still go here because they're friendly. but yesterday i asked them to weld on my little dual electronic cut out. i just asked for them to weld it on. and then weld a muffler to the other cut out since it's a DUAL electronic cut out. meaning one pipe can go to my muffler delete and the other pipe can go to the muffler. with the click of a remote button. i tried explaining to him and i thought he understood. i left and came back after almost two hours and they were doing it completely different and wrong than how we talked about. the set up and how they welded it made no sense. i asked for them to just stop doing the job and just give me dual tips (i came in with a single tip) so now the muffler/electronic cut out that i spent a lot of money on have old welds and what not on it. despite messing the things that i brought in and doing what i didn't ask for, they still charged me A LOT if they couldn't understand what i asking for they could've just said so. read more
