I ordered a smoothie and asked for them to supplement a fruit since I'm allergic. Instead of telling me they didn't know how to make a smoothie without the item they gave me the most disgusting smoothie I've had in my life. I was honestly confused on why it was difficult. They could've just made it normally, I didn't ask for much honestly and do it at other smoothie places all the time. I watched the person who made it had it to the cashier and shrug their shoulders and say " idk what else to do this is it ". We had some awesome açaí bowls and choices when living in Miami so it was nice to find this place. We came on a weekend around 11 and it got packed fast! The Southwestern Wrap was super tasty, especially with an extra side of that spicy chipotle dressing. The 16 oz green bowl is gigantic and tastes super fresh, with huge chunks of mango and pineapple and kiwi on top. I love that they have an option other than the usual acai and pitaya bowls. My only complaint is that they put a layer of granola on the bottom of the bowl, which got pretty soggy by the time I got to the bottom. The price point also was a tad high. I stopped in for a quick visit on a Friday night and got lucky with no line. I had my son and baby girl with me and everyone was nice. We ordered the acai bowl and my son ordered the acai smoothie. This didn't leave us with a big variety of flavors of course but nonetheless it was all delicious. The smoothie is a decent size to have on your own. However, today I had the chopped salad and there was a nice long hair in it that I pulled from my mouth. So gross. Ordered the spinach salad well chopped with added chicken. It was so well chopped, but not mixed the best. It seemed like the dressing and all ingredients went to the bottom of the bowl and was topped with dry spinach. I also ordered a passion fruit bowl and added almond butter (fair amount added for cost) and blueberries (5 very small blueberries were added for $1.25- pathetic). Up north you get a much larger portion for the same price, hence the 3 star review. Flavor on everything was ok, they just need better presentation and to give people what they pay for. read more
