I was drawn to this place on vacation because of the all-5 star reviews and it turns out those stars are well-earned. This is a cute local place with the sweetest staff and they make all of their own ice creams. They have 3 cases of flavors for ice cream and they make milkshakes as well. The strawberry ice cream is a great classic and is usually my go-to. As you walk in, you notice that beach chair and the giant ice cream cone near the door right away. The décor features some old time Cape Coral pictures and Fort Myers Beach. Nicely done and a good place to cool off! We tried the Pistachio, and Butter Pecan. They are creamy, smooth and not overly sweet! You know a place is really very good when you stop in more than once over the course of a week. The ice cream was INCREDIBLE and homemade and they have fresh waffle cones. That's really all I needed to know. The shop is pretty adorable and everyone working there was wonderfully friendly. How could we not stop in more than once? We came the first time after eating wayyyy too much food next door at Lobster Lady, but there is obviously always room for ice cream. Everyone loved what they got. We were able to sit inside, however, they did have plenty of outdoor seats available. The owners who were working both nights we went in were both so friendly. They asked us if we'd like to try flavors and encouraged multiple flavor tastes, probably my favorite part of getting ice cream. Tip: If you have a large party or expect multiple visits (plan on it), ask them for a punch card. After 12 punches you get a free ice cream or sundae. Also be sure to ask about the new flavors they introduce regularly. This place has so many flavors to choose from (which you can sample) that I am now determined to try a new flavor each time I come here (I am a local). Afterall, how boring is it to have the same flavor every time? You only live once right? I clearly will die sooner if I keep eating so much ice cream but I'll certainly die with a smile on my face for sure! This place is spacious and welcoming with Cape Coral historical photos on the walls, a nice pastel, beach color palette, a large chair for photo ops, one high top table (our preference) and nice big tables that can seat large parties.
