It was supposed to come on cherry toast, but I am not a fan of cherries at all. Everything about this toast was delicious! All the flavors paired so well together. I also added a side of bacon, because who doesn't love bacon? It was soooo yummy! My latte was good as well! Definitely a great breakfast spot if you're in the area !

On the day we went, they featured beans from Honduras "Marcala" & Sumatra "Putra Gayo Washed". The cold brew they served us came from Colombia. I was most impressed by their cold brew - it was light, fruity/floral, and super creamy. I can't think of any places in the US that does cold brews that well. My husband's favorite was the Honduras Marcala as it was very easy on the tongue, "sip easy" indeed it was. Luckily we got there early enough to snag seating outdoors. The place filled up quickly during our time there with a line out the door by the time we paid at the cash register.

You can add more to it such as heirloom cherry tomatoes, avocados, greens; garlic roasted field mushrooms, pork sausage, eggs or smoked ocean trout. I opted for scrambled eggs and it was a breakfast for champions NGL. Soooo good! Paired with the orange blossom matcha milk, I'm in heaven! I'm not really a citrusy kinda girl but that combo was divine. I needed more caffeine though for my long day ahead so I got a large mocha-- just the buzz I needed. The vibe is very aesthetic, industrial chic with high ceilings. Love the tables as well as the pitchers that look like Aesop bottles haha. I was really torn between the shokupan yuzu French toast and stracciatella, chilli and hazelnut toast but I'm glad I went with savory. Absolutely what I needed for today's adventures. Service was amazing. I was seated immediately but I came 15 mins after they opened so that's probably why. I'm so happy I added PCP to my Sydney itinerary.

We both had the Chilli Eggs and while my husband enjoyed his I was expecting something with more flavour because of the name of the dish and the ingredients. There were no potatoes served with the dish, just sourdough toast under the eggs, so I felt the serving size did not justify the price. $21.00 for 2 eggs with no spice and toast. Seriously!! I would not recommend. There is no service. The whole experience did not provide value for the money.

Except that it only works, the manager told me, if you are dining in the little restaurant, which can be kind of hard since it's not large and sometimes quite crowded. But they will bring the food to you in the hotel. I had breakfast most of the mornings I was there, sitting in the lobby, working on my laptop while my daughter slept in upstairs. They even, one morning, came over to confirm something about my order that I'd forgotten to note--very nice. The food was good. My only complaint is that the toast was overtoasted, even a little burnt. But that seems to be par for the course for restaurants in Australia--it happened other places as well, including in Adelaide. One morning my daughter ordered the avocado on toast, and she said that it was just guac. IDK. But overall, it was good and convenient and the service was very good.

I will say the coffee here and in Australia in general is some of the best coffee I've ever had. I ordered (2) espresso martinis, pancakes, and the sirloin steak breakfast with a side hashbrown. My pancakes were stone cold but I will say the aesthetics on it made it edible. The pistachio butter cream was to die for. My steak was ok ; for the price I simply just wanted more. I could be wrong but I doubt it was even 6oz. If you have this place on your radar be sure to make reservations. This goes for almost every restaurant in Sydney. My husband had the free range eggs on toast and I had the eggs Benedict. His was delicious but the eggs Benedict was amazing. The crispy kale really sold me as it was delectable in each bite. I also got to try the summer breeze watermelon salad. That was refreshing. It had a mix of greens, dressing, feta and a crisp prosciutto. I've never had prosciutto served fried; it was delicious.
