Cody Bailey's Landscaping is unfessional, poor quality workmanship. Mr Bailey was never on the job. He had about six or seven scabs and none spoke English. They were hired to install French drain and swale. Theres no incline. My swell now runs parallel with the land. Causing water buildup on one side of the swell that is close to mine septic tank. I've got damaged property where they dump the dirt. I was promised 4 inches of pea gravel around my house. I only got one inch of pea gravel and the rest filled in the swell that washed away in less than 2 months. Together me and my husband spent close to $10,000. We did not get our money's worth. In fact I feel like we were scammed! I will say that my husband and I are both elderly and he just passed away in March 2023. Mr Bailey took advantage of elderly couple. Cody did a job for me. Needed two drains lines run and had pavers installed in front of garage and a walkway built. First rainstorm ant the pop up along with the elbow came off. Ran the pipe under some asphalt and when he backfilled the asphalt he built it to high now when it rains I have a small pond behind the asphalt. The pavers are sinking so have water in the depressions. Have called, texted and emailed. Called once and said he would be out, no show or call. It's sad he is still in business taking people's hard earned money for such bad work. Don't waste your time or money on him. read more

The worst experience I have had in 35 years. I hired Cody Bailey to plant some trees, add French drains & a large area of grass and a fire pit. He is a good salesman and trusted him. MISTAKE...It took his company 14 months to complete about 40% of the work. I must have called them 50 times and each time they lied to me. No Rating because they don't deserve even a one star... After this review, comments on his instagram and reporting him to the BBB he has been out and done some work on the wall, we're still not done, however it's a lot closer to being done than not. We have had lots of rain too so we understand. If he will continue at this rate, we should be done by the end of Aug. we'll see read more

Cody Bailey doesn't know how to run a business and he doesn't come by to check the work of his employees. We hired Bailey Landscaping to insert French drains and they left our yard a complete mess. When we told him, he made false promises and never came by to look at it, clean it, or fix it. He left his trailer with tools and other machinery in the street in front of our house for over a month. And his dead excavator is still at the end of the cul-de-sac after 3 months. French drains were installed, but they did not finish the job. They left a huge mess and didn't compact the ground as promised. I would not recommend Bailey Landscaping to anyone. read more

Baily's Landscaping is, for lack of a better word, a JOKE. You'll be promised the moon and they'll deliver a "moonscape," completely void of any surface prep actually being done. To anyone with any common sense, a correctly landscaped lawn, requires that the underlying (dirt) surface be prepared and smoothed. That's what the word "landscaped" means. To landscape our lot they used the blade from a backhoe and rakes, yes, simply rakes, and this was only done in some areas. Anyone who has gone through the very painful process of building a home, (that's another nightmare), in Jasper Highlands knows that the dirt around a house isn't "soft" dirt. It can better be described as "clumps" of mud and clay which cannot be broken up or smoothed with a hand rake. When a neighbor's home was landscaped, a Harley Rake was used to smooth/prep the dirt, free of those mud clumps. At NO TIME did one of these machines touch our property. We were told the Harley Rake was down for repairs. They did as little labor as possible, leaving it look barely prepared for laying down Bermuda grass turf. The finished product was a VERY uneven surface that resembled a sheet of bubble wrap with uneven sized bubbles and prime ground for turned and twisted ankles. From start to finish the entire project took them just over 4 MONTHS to complete. We were told that from start to finish the project would take a maximum of 2 weeks working every day. This delay was NOT due to bad weather. Some days one worker showed up or a few would show up but leave after being on site for 2 or 3 hours. On other days 2 or 3 workers would show up and after a short time all but one would leave and not return. You should also be aware that simply because someone was on site, doesn't imply that they will be working. Each day, the amount of time spent on taking breaks, lunch, surfing on their cell phones or even napping, yes ... napping, is in all cases more than the time that actual work is being done. This is not an exaggeration! If you call the office, you'll be told that Cody is in a meeting or will be in meetings ... all day ... and that he'll return your call. Ha! That never happens! Office staff will sometimes show up to "address" your concerns, take notes and leave. That will be the end of them "addressing" your concerns. The notes they took mean nothing. If Cody does happen to show up to meet and discuss your concerns, it'll turn in to a "social visit." You'll hear a LOT of ... "I have to be able to sleep at night" and "I'll be the biggest critic." He'll inspect NOTHING and NOT address any of your concerns. He'll tell you what materials will be used and where they'll be used. He's a smooth talker and comes across as very professional. Don't be fooled. It's ALL lip service to get the job. Get EVERYTHING in writing and ensure that it specifies the materials, the quantity of materials that will be used and where they'll be used. Also get in writing how long it will take to complete the project after the start date. If you do decide to make the (very wrong) decision and use them, be prepared and warned that you'll be making a mistake that you'll live with until you hire someone else to fix what you paid Bailey to do right the first time. They're not the only landscaper willing to work in the area. I would suggest attending the Chattanooga Home and Garden show to find others who are more than willing to work in Jasper Highlands.
