The stroganoff was served over pasta that appeared to have been prepped ahead of time and quickly reheated, but it was significantly undercooked and had a tough, leathery texture.I also ordered a side of fried Brussels sprouts. While I realize they were cooked in a deep fryer, they too seemed undercooked. The centers were firm enough to be unpleasantly hard.That said, in the interest of giving an honest review, I have to emphasize that this experience appears to be an exception rather than the rule. My wife and I had a very negative experience with Melissa for our catering for our wedding. My wife…read morespecifically asked multiple times that the salads not be "pre-set" at the wedding over email and Melissa wrote back and confirmed that this wouldn't happen. During the day of the wedding, Melissa started to pre-set the salads and our wedding coordinator reminded Melissa that that was not wanted (twice) and Melissa went ahead and did it anyway with no explanation. That's not the biggest deal, however, and definitely doesn't explain the 1-star review. The 1-star review is because we paid for and ordered vendor meals for the photographer, DJ, and day-of-coordinator so that they would have something to eat. We wanted them to be able to eat during the reception, not after, and when the photographer asked for her meal, she was rudely told it wouldn't be provided to her until after the reception was over. The wedding coordinator reportedly asked Melissa a few times if the photographer could get her meal and again was rudely told that she would be provided with a meal after the guests were served. So even though we paid for the vendor meals, not one vendor received their meal all night. When we emailed Melissa about this asking for a refund for the vendor meals which were not provided to our vendors, she denied the refund and told us that there was "PLENTY of food provided for them". She was incredibly unprofessional all around. Aside from this drama that occurred at the wedding, the food itself was not presented very well, though did taste "okay". I definitely wouldn't have remembered the food had it not been my wedding because it was not good but wasn't bad either. Overall, given Melissa's unprofessional attitude during the wedding, her inability to literally hand the photographer a plate of food after being asked multiple times by our wedding coordinator and the photographer, pre-setting the salads despite two emails confirming the brides desire to not do so (and two verbal requests from the wedding coordinator on the day of to not pre-set the salads), and then refusing to refund us the money after the vendors did not receive any food just because she wasn't willing to give them their food until close to midnight all around deserves 0 stars, but because I can't give 0 stars, 1 will have to suffice. Would not recommend to literally anyone.

He provided us with sampler platters of the cocktail hour choices and our dinner choices prior to the day of simply because I was so unsure and wanted to make sure each detail was perfect. I have to say, it was delicious! He communicated well and often which helped make the day go so smooth. The food was delicious, looked beautiful, and the staff was so efficient at serving all of our guests. I don't know how they were to work with but as a guest I was mad because the bride and groom deserved way better. Edit: they also mixed up which cake was gluten free which is really really dangerous for some of the family members who were celiac.
