The store itself is also very cute. It is a nineteenth-century house and every room, including the kitchen, is covered in beautifully arranged bookshelves. Specialties include cookbooks, fiction and children's books but there's plenty to be found on many different topics. If you're looking for rare items, gifts for friends, or a novel to read on the ferry, make sure to check out this shop as you tour southwestern Nova Scotia.

Lots of Canada and Nova Scotia souvenirs, local products and some clothing item that drew our attention. We liked a certain hoodie but wanted a different "graphic" emblazoned across the front (one that read "Digby: World Famous Scallopsl"). No problem; we waited about 15 minutes while our helper did a neat heat transfer. The result was exactly what we wanted. And the shop can take any size hoodie or sweatshirt you desire and put any graphic you prefer on it. It's a neat thing for families.

They are attractive and fairly priced, we thought, and some of the art work on the walls is especially well done. Lots of dresses and jackets hung up and on my most recent visit the jeans were hung as well! ( A new trend for all Frenchy locations in NS) I always find fantastic pieces here. The past visit I grabbed a French Connection dress, new with tags and a pair of leather Born oxfords, new with tags. I was pumped. There is a nice large children area incase you bring the kids, they can sit and watch cartoons or play in a designated area. There is also a lot of benches at this location for anyone who just needs a moment. What I like most about this place is that there are two areas of changing rooms on either side of the building. That's how large this Frenchys is. So you never have to wait in line. If you're passing by, or on a Nova Scotia Frenchys tour, I highly recommend you stopping in here. You won't be disappointed!!
