Although its been open for about ten years, I'd only recently learned of Wildflower from an acquaintance. Its confines are currently dressed in soft, breathable garments and assuring color palates. (Periwinkle, charcoal, rose pink, nude, and flecks of colour amongst it all!) Its actually a breath of fresh air, and a different variety from other independent boutiques in the area. I was elated to discover the accumulation of Free People frocks, which is probably my favorite [semi] affordable brand of all time. The owner mentioned that they would be getting more in soon-- whoo hoo! The overall stock seems romantic, flowing, and of excellent taste. Cute tops, rich fabrics and cuts are here for the taking. I think its safe to say that Wildflower has Bohemian Romantic down. The owner of the shop offered me genuine conversation and an easy shopping experience. I was the only patron at the time, so we chatted as I browsed. There was no pressure, no facade-- just good conversation and a shop full of wonders. After much swooning and chit-chat, I know this is a boutique I can dig. Besides the clothes, there were also some pretty neat accessories. I'd say the owner of Wildflower has a great eye. Understated, funky, classic and bohemian looks are all fused into one cohesive collection. All you need is a paycheck. xo

Most of the dresses there were in the $200-400 range and the quality just wasn't there. There was only really one small room with dresses. The change rooms felt larger than the dress room. Most of the dresses had very thin fabrics and it was obvious they were quickly and cheaply made factory style. Which is fine for some brides, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Other bridal shops had much better quality dresses that were in the $800 range then reduced to around $300.

Pauline Dickison of Lunenburg Nova Scotia specializes in creating durable and amazing looking bags made out of old sails. Each bag comes with a unique history about the comings and goings of specific ships and their sails. My particular bag is made out of a previously used sail from SV Concordia; the sail training ship that went down off of Rio de Janeiro on February 17th, 2010. Neat history eh? Hello On March 10,…read more2025, I went in with my teenage son , to look for a prom suit, and was greeted by a young lady named Nikki. She was very good with me and my son, and was very patient giving us the time we needed to decide what he would like. There was no hovering. She returned to let us know that she was there if there is anything she could help us with, but allowed time for me and my son to discuss what he liked. The service was wonderful, Nikki was friendly and respectful, and my son is very happy with his prom suit purchase, with the shoes. It is an awesome Deal. At one point we noticed a spot or something on the suit jacket and the shoes had bend marks in them, to which Nikki immediately brough out a new suit Jacket and a new pair of shoes. My son was very impressed. It was a great Day and we can't say enough about our experience at Karma. We have passed their name around. Thank You Nikki for your very friendly service, and Thank You Karma, for the handsome prom suit for my son.

The dresses she chose were pretty (meaning something I may actually even wear again!) and my colour! They said 3-4 months for them to come in and even made it easy to buy additional fabric for sleeves (a must for my bust). We ordered today and the girl made it pretty easy. We spent four hours in the store watching her try dresses while scarfing down chocolate-covered strawberries (made in-house). We were all in agreeable when we left that it didn't seem like that long. One of the two girls kept cleaning up after us, which was really nice. Our bride even ended up saying yes to her dress, at which time it was time for champagne! They made the process of paying really easy, splitting it up and letting her pay a portion at a time, as she was also paying for a couple bridesmaids dresses. Even let a bridesmaid put a deposit down. If ever someone was looking for a formal dress store, even without having received the dress, I'd already recommend Karma.
