With the crazy weather and high winds we've been having it was time for them to come down and after talking with Tim during the estimate process I knew TB Tree Service was who I wanted to do the job. Tim and his top notch crew were exceptional and the equipment they use is impressive as well . There wasn't a lot of room for them to work but their precision in cutting large sections of the trees and using a crane to swing them over the house to their huge chipper machine was something you had to see to believe. They did all this with safety being their #1 priority and without the slightest bit of damage to my yard or landscaping (and I'm exceptionally picky). To top it all off, cleanup was done so well that the only evidence that major tree work had been done is that the trees are gone - not a stray branch, wood chips of even a leaf remained. Incredible job and I'd highly recommend TB Tree Service to anyone that needs tree work done!

I ordered 95 railroad ties and they were all broken and rotten full of weeds and poison ivy. dug out of a hillside were they have been for 50 years or more I returned them to him in exchange for what he said he could guarantee hand-picked grade B quality railroad ties. I was at the north Jackson location with his operator, Chris May as he dug through the ties and went dump a pile in front of me. I sift it through them and we couldn't find any better that were better than the rotten and broken ones. I returned and at 3 o'clock, Chris left and I still had not gotten all my ties and I had maybe found only 10 solid ones that were worth anything, so no refund no ties and they just ignore my calls and text messages....

Since posting this review, the owner has contacted me several times, stating that this "should have been handled man-to-man." I found that framing unnecessary and unprofessional, especially given that the review reflects my actual experience. Due to recent threats of legal action over my original opinion, I have been documenting communications and recording calls. I'm comfortable standing by the factual details of what occurred. These are hard-working guys they took down four pine trees and a relatively big maple tree in about 3 1/2 hours. That also includes cleanup, which I feel like each time they've been to my house they've gone above and beyond for cleanup, which is really nice. Anytime I've ever called grasshopper they've answered their phone and been to my house to give me a quote within two days. I had multiple companies come out here and some of the quotes were outrageous. I think Phil does very fair business and if you're looking for a tree service company, I would highly recommend having grasshopper give you a quote.
