In fact, not only did I find the service to be pretty good, but they had the one thing that was going to grab my attention, and that was a decent beer selection on tap. Mind you, when the other offerings aren't all that great, having a decent beer selection is certainly going to raise the callibre of the pub in my mind, and this was certainly the case here. Like, that had some nice beers on tap, but not a huge selection, then again one probably doesn't expect too much to come from a country pub. It did have some charm, but it certainly didn't stand out in a way that I would remember it, good or bad.

We wanted to find a place for a quick weekend getaway that wasn't too far from Melbourne…read more Brigadoon has multiple self contained cottages with their own kitchenettes, fireplaces and amenities. The cottages are self cater but come fully equipped with cooking gear. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful but also gave us our privacy. The local area has quite a few nice restaurants like Big Spoon, Little Spoon in Warragul, Jindivick Harvest Kitchen and plenty of walks and small towns to explore. Would definitely stay there again.
