The building itself was rather nice, being one of those old fashioned country pubs, which is a welcome change to the ones that I tend to encounter in the city. However, it really didn't stand out, though I guess that it had a lot to do with the limited beers, which I suspect is because nobody drinks craft beer out here. Yeah, it wasn't all that great.

This pub was another one of those reasonable country pubs, which basically means that it was good,…read morebut not so much that I'm going to rave about it. Hey, at least I felt welcome, which is certainly a good thing where pubs are concerned. They had a pretty large smokers cage, though one could sort of argue that it is a beer garden in which you aren't allowed to eat. They also have a couple of nice beers as well, which is certainly a change to a lot of other country pubs that I have visited. Yeah, it's okay.
