Forget the name and I think that was a croissant and not a meat pie by mistake. Anyway, I'll forgive the meat pie mistake though I want to try one. The meal was amazing. FRESH! The pork was delicious and plentiful, the rice was fluffy and too much to finish, the hummus and vegetable salads were both perfection. I have lived in the valley since 2013 and this is my first try. It will not be my last. What a wonderful surprise!

This carry out Armenian mom and pop establishment is both a meat market, deli and a destination for select carry out hot food. My choice was easy, the Beef Lula Kabob plate, to go. It contains two juicy, fresh and mildly flavored kabobs topped with raw onions, with sides of creamy humus, soft pita, a cucumber tomato salad and white rice. I enjoyed every item in my carry out box. On top of that, the owner, Hovik was friendly, kind, always smiling and most welcoming. The market also has a vast raw meat selection. Something to think about, if you are in the mood to do some cooking. As for me, this is a hidden gem, tucked away in a very small, quiet and unassuming strip mall at the junction of Chatsworth and White Oak. This wonderful store will definitely move to a high position on my list, when I am longing for soft and enticing kabobs.

Great selection of Filipino food and snacks! They also offer a buy-one-get-one-free breakfast…read morespecial, which is a nice bonus. Come prepared to spend a little money if you're looking to satisfy your cravings--they carry hard-to-find Filipino favorites, including Ilocos empanadas. At $7.99 each, they're definitely a splurge, but it's not something you see everywhere. They accept credit cards, and the customer service was excellent. As for the Ilocos empanada, the flavor was on point, but the texture wasn't quite what I expected. It was a bit doughy and lacked the crispy crunch that makes a great empanada stand out. Overall, a solid spot for Filipino food, especially if you're looking for authentic specialties and friendly service.

Finding parking will be difficult because it's in a medium size lot but a lot of people goes to the Trader Joe's that is here and the gym. The store isn't that big inside but it works for them. The seafood and meat area are toward the back. They'll have some fish out in the middle of the store on ice so customers can just grab it themselves. The prices are reasonable here. They have other items too here but I was just looking for Sea Bass. I didn't find any here today.

I originally discovered this spot when I noticed a line of people around the block right before…read moreThanksgiving. I then learned that they are known for their honey baked ham and that they serve a mean breakfast. Today I stopped by for the first time to give it a try. I went with honey baked ham Benedict with a side of hash browns. The portion was of a good size and visually looked great. The benedict tasted pretty good, with its yummy lemony hollandaise sauce, toasted muffin and the famous honey baked ham. However, the ham was a bit on the drier side and I was really hoping it would be more juicy. The hash browns too, were a bit dry. Still a good meal, but I like mine to be more tender and juicier. The seating area has around 8 tables, with a decor of an older diner. The service was friendly and fast. I may try this spot again--maybe a sandwich this time.

This review is fo my last visit which was 2 days before Thanksgiving 2025…read more I got there 10 minutes before they officially opened, and the line was already out on the sidewalk. I finally got to the counter to place my order 2 hours after opening. No issue with waiting in line considering the Thanksgiving crowd. The issue I have is how management dealt with dealing with the lines. There were 2 lines: pre-order/pre-paid or walk-ins. There were 6 registers: 5 are for the pre-order/pre-paid, and the 1 was for the walk-ins. The issue is that the walk-in line is super long, while the pre-order/pre-paid line had no more than between 6 to 8 people. Staff on the 5 registers informed walk-in customers that management told them they are only ring up pre-order/pre-pay. Meanwhile, walk-in customers would suffer because of some idiotic management decision, and they are too obtuse to fix a simple problem to solve. RIDICULOUS!!! Lesson learned, best to pre-order/pre-pay for next year at least 2 week ahead. If you wait too late, they will not accept anymore pre-order/pre-pay. The good news: we very much enjoyed the honey baked ham, pork roast, mash & gravy, and baby back ribs were awesome!!!
