I purchased a 5lb USDA prime chuckroast from them for a potroast for Christmas dinner. It was frozen, thawed it under refrigeration, took almost 2 days, which was fine but plan ahead. The meat was good! Marbling was good! Price was good too at $8.99/lb. Make sure to bring cash as there is a big upcharge for merchant fees for credit card processing. A bit too salty, but still enjoyed the meat we cooked. Nice luxury experience, boutique store that has everything you want. Reminds me a lot of New York City specialty stores in lower manhattan. Nice service too, friendly and efficient. The two stars of the show: chicken lule, beef lule. We had other meats from here but the two stand outs were the lule's. We bought our charcoal Armenian grill from Star Kitchen Supply in Burbank. It's amazing, best $140 we spent. It's so easy to use. We like going to butcher shops like this just to bring home and grill. There's a little veggie produce area where they sell peppers and tomatoes. It's $2.99 per pound. Quite pricy but worth it if you're in a hurry! The tabbouleh here is quite pricy $13 for a box (comes in one size), but oh my goodness it is delicious. The best tabbouleh- a bit greasy but flavorful. Not a bad spot for finding this randomly when I came to Northridge for 4th of July. The staff is super nice and welcoming, it's a small shop, so call beforehand. They didn't have everything a traditional butcher had but they had the beef ribs I was looking for (short rib, not that baby back crap). The butcher knew what I wanted and gave it to me. The only thing about the meat that I didn't like was that they cut all the fat off of the beef rib, which I like to keep mostly on so the top doesn't burn in the smoker, but it was fine. read more

We called this butcher shop on Easter eve after WHOLE FOODS SCREWED UP OUR ORDER. We wanted Branzino for Easter and Vartan was able to take care of us immediately, giving us 10 fresh Branzino. We will be coming back here for all our meats. They had done an amazing job on cleaning the fish too. So I live in the area and had a craving for steak one day, which led to this place being my go to spot! I've tried many options for their steak, some kebab, and other cut meat and I loved it. One this I'll say, is they are slightly expensive, but that's to be expected coming to a butcher. Regardless, food is great, service is great, they have an updated style for their shop which I always love. The place is very nice on the inside. I offered to make a comfort meal for a friend who had surgery. He requested short ribs. Hadn't made in years but decided to give it a go. Interesting enough, good short ribs are not easy to find. I always call in advance when looking for something to save myself an unnecessary trip. I called, and went, to two places before Supreme, who unfortunately didn't have what I needed. Been going to Supreme for a couple years now, when I'm back at school nearby. It's always been incredible, food is amazing, prices are great for the quality, and everyone has been super nice and easy to talk to. The only thing bad I can say about this place is that parking sucks. They have a very small parking lot in front of their store and it's not meant for large/extended SUV's. The store is very small and when you walk in, you see some Armenian items and there's the meat case in front of you. They have pork, beef, lamb, chicken and grounded meat that's been seasoned so you can make your own kebabs at home. Some of their meats are marinated and some are seasoned with salt & pepper. Came here to pick up beef rib plates to smoke at home. These are the Dino ribs you get in Texas, but just smaller. I also got the pork cheeks and iberico steak. I would definitely come here again as the guy helping was very nice and informative. The store looks to be family owned and they can cut the meats any way you like. I would definitely call ahead of time just to make sure they have the meats you are looking for. It doesn't smell at all when you walk in, so they do a great job at cleaning the meat case. read more

These guys has the beat authentic and exotic meats ever. I stopped here over the holidays to cook some meats for Christmas and New Years Eve. Place has beef, chicken. lamb, pork, and so much more.
