The cheese dip is delicious. The tacos were pretty mediocre. The service was polite and prompt. The portion was generous.

We were given a verbal recommendation from a local, and this was within walking distance and we gave it a try. I ordered the Steak & Queso nachos, which comes with just those two toppings. I wanted to add to the variety, so I ordered a side of the black beans and side of rice. I added the beans to the top and asked their kitchen to add some jalapenos. They used diced raw jalapenos, so I asked for just a few since this variety is hotter than pickled. The chips are a bit stronger than typical nacho chips, which really works well in this dish. Without being tough, they're just a tad more robust so they don't get soggy over time. It's a perfect match. The sides are a bit small, but adequate and the flavors were good. The black beans are labeled as Cajun, but I found them typically Latin flavored. Seating is modern with concrete floors and glass frontage, while the table tops are rustic wood. This is a great place to go if you're looking for less authentic tacos. I tried the Cajun Fish tacos which I believe was flounder. You have the option of getting them Baja style (fried) also, however after trying both I definitely recommend the Cajun. My friend said the Cajun chicken was great too, if you aren't in the mood for fish. I typically prefer flour tortillas, so for 50 cents more a taco I opted for those. I then tried the corn tortilla they come on standard. The corn tortillas were so much more fresh and soft and just awesome. Would not get the flour tortilla again. I was pretty hungry so four tacos was what it took to fill me up but I could see someone being satisfied with three or even just two. In the mood for wings and decided to try this after reading some of the reviews. It was an hour drive for us but we like trying new and non chain places. The wings were pretty good, the flavor was on point and not too saucy which is how I prefer them. If you like extra saucy I would make sure to ask for it. I felt the prices were pretty decent for 12 wings and fries as it was around $14.95. I personally thought the wings were a little on the small side. Not Buffalo's Café small but also not as large as the wings from Trinity BBQ. It may be due to being free range and not injected with anything. The fries were just ok, nothing special. It would have been nice to have extra napkins on the table or more with the food when it arrives. For me and my son both having wings we were only given 3 total napkins. I blame myself for not getting extra because the server was very exceptional at his job and asked constantly if we needed refills or anything else. I had plenty of chances to ask and he did bring wetnaps without us having to ask. I think the server was one of the best I've seen lately and really enjoyed his job, very polite and was juggling all the tables with ease. I think BajaCoop should be proud of whoever the server was. As far as the food goes, I have no complaints. I don't normally get wings but I got them here. I got Buffalo and Hot Tropical sauce for the flavors. Thought the wings needed more sauce, but I'm not a wing so maybe that's it. I got fries as well. Which were excellent. The wings were cooked to perfection. Not greasy and still moist on the inside. My wife got the quinoa bowl with Cajun seasoning on the chicken. Overall liked it. But she thought a sauce in the bowl might help it. But where both my wife and I have had problems was the cleanliness of the restaurant. When we got there, it did not look like any of the tables had been cleaned. Some of them were still sticky. Also, the servers sat down to eat. Which is fine but would get up to being food to the tables without washing their hands. So it made us concerned. I really wanted to like this place after seeing all of the photos posted on social media. But My friend and I went in around 3:30 or so. We sat for about 10 min or so before someone acknowledged us. The place wasn't packed, so this was a little annoying. We ordered and they brought us chips/queso. The queso wasn't very tasty and had a grainy texture. I ordered fish tacos and they actually were really great. Hence the 3 stars. It was hard to get extra napkins, etc we had to wait for the server to come back and check on us. Just came back from Baja Coop and I wanted to write my review before I forgot. My first impression when I walked in was that it was a little drab. It just didn't feel very inviting because it was just a little too dark in there and there needs to be more color on the walls to make it feel warmer. Maybe some more cool paintings or pictures would help. Also, it would feel more welcome is there was someone there to immediately greet you when you walk or if the person running the cashier would say "Welcome to Baja Coop" as soon as you walked in. It would also be helpful is someone asked if this was the first time you've been here so they can help you with the menu. The food was pretty good here. I got the hot wings and chips and a cajun chicken taco. For me, the wings could have been crispier. It felt a little rubbery to me. They either needed to be cooked a little longer or at a higher temperature. The corn chips and salsa were good. The cajun chicken taco was much better than the wings and that's what I would go back for. I really think your restaurant should focus more on the tacos and have more variety like (pork belly, steak, etc...). Some lunch specials on the tacos would definitely make me want to come back more often. Like 2 tacos, chips, & drink for $9. For about $4 each taco, it gets too pricy for lunch IMHO. Also, having an all you can eat chips and salsa bar would be amazing and would help bring people back. Overall I had a good first experience from this restaurant and I will go back for the tacos. I do hope they make some improvements as it's just not some place that will be on the top of my mind right now when we go out to lunch. Good luck guys. Love this place, random stop. I like the chips thick crispy pita. The app nacho was good. The buffalo chicken nacho was also the bomb. Grilled chicken taco was fresh and delicious. The steak nacho was kinda left to be desired just plain nacho with queso added steak, Maybe my bad for misunderstanding menu. The Mexican corn in a cup came in a CUP not a little cup was also delicious with good seasoning and was not watered down. Also got some bone in wings top notch. Service was good. Good atmosphere.
