I enjoyed the shrimp and the ranchero sauce. It was just spicy enough. The building isn't much to look at from the parking lot but inside it's decorated in a interesting way. The crowd was smallish as it was late on a Monday so it wasn't very noisy.

When you walk in you're greeted by super cute decor, although the restaurant itself is pretty small (there's about 5 tables inside). The staff was very friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order as well. I went with two handmade tacos, one chicken and one chorizo, with a side of elote. The chips were fresh and hot and the dip was a generous serving, with beans being the primary ingredient. My entree was the Flako's Grill and the shrimp were nice and plump. The steak was decent, and the rice, beans, pico, and tortillas that came with it were good. In contrast with the menu description they substituted (without notice) a poblano pepper for jalapenos and the seeds had not been removed and it had a real kick. Some slices of the avocado had a dark gray/brown shadow and didn't look fresh, so I only ate the slices that were still green. There is lots of seating and a side room with doors that can be closed and it would be great for a large private party. The table and chairs were solid and heavy wood, which made for comfortable seating.
