They both always listen carefully to what I tell them then either one of them comes up with a plan (and back up plans) to improve my condition. Kara and Alex are sincerely interested in my well-being. When my issues become complicated, they are always one step ahead on what we should do next. Today I had a steroid shot in both knees. Yea!! It felt better immediately, but if it doesn't last long enough, I think I get gel shots next. There's always a backup plan, and it's not always surgery. Of course Dr. Mustafa is great too, but in doctor's offices, Dr.'s often hand down regular patients to Nurse Practitioner's in the same office. I have no complaints about it with Kara and Alex. I am confident that this office is the right place for me, and I plan on coming here for all my arthritis concerns.

Burleson in the (THHuguley location). This is regarding Dr. MANSOOR. Oncologist/Hematology…read more Dr. Mansoor (in my opinion) is one of the most unethical "Dr.s" I have ever met. What a complete JOKE. She has "Done Harm" to me by refusing to send an order for a radiology test (To the test site) that will confirm whether I have cancer or not. Cruel and Uncaring, not to mention dishonest. It's not like I'm asking her to pay for it! Avoid this one if you value a real Dr. with ethics and morals. This so called "Doctor", LIED to me and told me that my insurance had DENIED the request for a Petscan. WRONG, Dr. MAnsoor WITHDREW the Request out of SPITE, and Vengeance! On the 800# where you can check the status of your request - it says WITHDRAWN and on the website where you can also check the status of the request it states "PROCEDURE NOT DONE" Are you kidding me (I am posting a screenshot of the website responce. She is (In my opinion) a MEAN SPIRITED woman with No ethichs or morals and I pray that anyone that goes to see this person, finds another "Dr.", a Dr. with morals and that will treat their patients with the utmost of dignity and respect, becasue NO ONE should ever be treated this way, ESPECIALLY someone with cancer. Shame on Dr. Mansoor...

I moved to Texas in 2014 and had the hardest time finding a rheumatologist I loved and trusted…read more Around 2016 after being put on injectable's for my RA that was diagnosed on 2005 I was finding myself breaking out into bumps. I went to a dermatologist and had biopsies but they said they couldn't be sure however they thought it was heat and solar urticaria. I then found Padmapriya Sivaraman, at NRH Rheumatology Associates and immediately thought I found the right person for me. She put me on Rinvoq which was doing me wonders until I broke out head to toe with a rash while on vacation. She asked if the dermatologist tested for Lupus, I asked them and was told they had . Padmapriya Sivaraman, Then performed another test indicating I had Lupus because she was saying my Rosacea was the butterfly pattern. I became skeptical and would question more and more until she told me around 2021 I could no longer come back to the office and I was banned from the practice. I found a rheumatologist closer to me in Keller which he told me Lipus was a specialty of his along with Rheumatoid Arthritis and said based on his tests I had neither but did however indicate having inflammation markers that he needed to look more into. He kept me on Rinvoq but continued to monitor me the same. In 2022 I moved to Indiana and the first doctor I could get into was not my first preference but doctors were turning away patients due to not enough staff. She took me off Rinvoq because I mentions some joint tenderness in my thumbs. She suggested to try out Orencia and after a few months it was not doing much more for me so she switched to Enbrel and after a few months my hair stylist noticed patches of hair missing. I then began to break out with Psoriasis patches in my scalp, legs, torso and arms. I went to get a second opinion and that doctor read my notes and treated me as if I was a hypochondriac and ran my bill up with blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds and more, making my out of pocket made for the year as of January 2025. I showed photos on Facebook to my friends and luckily she worked at a very well known Rheumatologist and although he was not accepting new patients he decided to take me under his wing. I in the meantime went to a dermatologist that did steroid injection in my scalp...most is all filled in except one of the worst places. He told me I needed to be back on Rinvoq as that is what he would give his patients with Alopecia. I decided to wait and continue injections for 4 months. In the meantime I got into the new rheumatologist and he also confirmed Alopecia and Psoriasis which led him to thinking I have Psoriatic Arthritis and Alopecia. He was able to pull my initial diagnosis from Indiana in 2006 and said most patients were miss diagnosed back then and if patients are on a medication that hides other symptoms doctors don't know to look into other issues and keep treating as is. Fast forward, I moved back to Texas August 2025 and tried to contact Rheumatology Associates closer to Krum area since this is where I am now. I think it was Frisco, but I was denied seeing I was banned from Padmapriya Sivaraman's practice. Again leaving me with limited options with my insurance coverage and showing how our healthcare system is failing their patients every day since COVID! So I beg that you keep all this in mind when choosing your socialist with this corporation. I had to be my own patient advocate and the system don't seem to care. Which is sad seeing I am a small business owner and would not go to these lengths for my clients to just give me a bad ratting...I'm going to go above and beyond to help! I am grateful I have found out so much and I'm back on the proper care for myself.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unprofessional treatment I received from…read morethe staff at Dr. Kalagate's office, which resulted in my abrupt and unjust dismissal as a patient. I have been under Dr. Kalagate's care for over a year without any prior issues. However, the situation began when my daughter was referred as a new patient. After a month of not hearing back from the office, I called to follow up. I was informed that the referral had been received but had issues. I was told someone would call me back -- that call never came. I followed up again and was then told that an insurance referral was required, which I explained was not the case. My insurance does not require referrals, and I have the same coverage for both myself and my daughter, which has never required one during my time as Dr. Kalagate's patient. The office manager at the time was argumentative and dismissive, despite my calm explanation and offer to have the insurance company confirm our policy. While she eventually agreed to schedule my daughter, she did so only after warning that I would be liable for the full cost if the insurance did not pay. When I asked to speak with her supervisor due to her rude behavior, she refused to provide a name or contact. Weeks later, when I called to confirm my upcoming appointment, I was told I had been discharged as a patient due to allegedly being "disruptive" during a visit with my daughter -- a visit that never happened, as I never came to the office with my daughter. When I corrected the record, I was told it was instead due to being "disruptive" during my own visit -- again, a claim with no basis in reality. At no point did I raise my voice or behave inappropriately. I was respectful throughout, despite being treated dismissively and given contradictory information. When the new office manager called me, she stated that Dr. Kalagate stands by the decision to dismiss me and "does not tolerate disruptive behavior." When I asked what specifically I had done that was considered disruptive, I was given vague responses and told that "documentation" exists -- documentation that, based on the false statements made, is clearly one-sided and inaccurate. I find this situation highly unprofessional and distressing. I was a respectful, compliant patient who simply sought care for my daughter and clarification on our insurance policy. I believe I was dismissed unfairly, without investigation or due process, and based on inaccurate information created by a prior staff member. Worse, Dr. Kalagate's decision to support that without review suggests a disregard for patient advocacy and transparency.
