They both always listen carefully to what I tell them then either one of them comes up with a plan (and back up plans) to improve my condition. Kara and Alex are sincerely interested in my well-being. When my issues become complicated, they are always one step ahead on what we should do next. Today I had a steroid shot in both knees. Yea!! It felt better immediately, but if it doesn't last long enough, I think I get gel shots next. There's always a backup plan, and it's not always surgery. Of course Dr. Mustafa is great too, but in doctor's offices, Dr.'s often hand down regular patients to Nurse Practitioner's in the same office. I have no complaints about it with Kara and Alex. I am confident that this office is the right place for me, and I plan on coming here for all my arthritis concerns.

What a complete JOKE. She has "Done Harm" to me by refusing to send an order for a radiology test (To the test site) that will confirm whether I have cancer or not. Cruel and Uncaring, not to mention dishonest. It's not like I'm asking her to pay for it! Avoid this one if you value a real Dr. with ethics and morals. This so called "Doctor", LIED to me and told me that my insurance had DENIED the request for a Petscan. WRONG, Dr. MAnsoor WITHDREW the Request out of SPITE, and Vengeance! On the 800# where you can check the status of your request - it says WITHDRAWN and on the website where you can also check the status of the request it states "PROCEDURE NOT DONE" Are you kidding me (I am posting a screenshot of the website responce. She is (In my opinion) a MEAN SPIRITED woman with No ethichs or morals and I pray that anyone that goes to see this person, finds another "Dr.", a Dr. with morals and that will treat their patients with the utmost of dignity and respect, becasue NO ONE should ever be treated this way, ESPECIALLY someone with cancer. Shame on Dr. Mansoor...

The staff do not answer phone calls, the people who are supposed to get preauthorizations delay for 6-10 days. This results in not getting essential test results to indicate severity and risk. For example, July 1 Dr Patel diagnosed me with 2 heart murmurs and abnormal cardiogram results. Not results I had ever been told. I am still waiting for the procedure to be scheduled which will address and resolve it After the July 1 news, the nuclear stress test was not scheduled until July 28 due to 2 problems with HeartPlace. 1-Staff did not submit preauthorization for 9-10 days! Insurance approved in 1 day. 2- HeartPlace could find no openings in their schedule for the procedure for another 2 weeks, July 28. More examples below if interested: July 28, Had nuclear stress test. The results of the test were posted in portal. The results were filled with medical terminology which was incomprehensible to a lay person. Aug 6 was the soonest they could schedule me to discuss the 2 pages of test results. Met with not doctor but Nurse Practioner, Tiffany to hear surprising news. Tiffany in 15 minutes said a few things, concluding I needed angiogram and possible stents placement. She did not adequately explain what, in the results, exactly indicated that level of seriousness. Aug 8 We had a second appointment to have explained what indicated severity with Dr. Patel (and paid again for it) to have explained in 15 minutes what indicated severity and high risk. It's a multi vessel disease and I'm diabetic. Aug 11, Insurance confirmed they would expedite the request for a heart catheterization and possible stent placement but that preauthorization had not been sent in. Aug 13 the paperwork was finally submitted. But no room on schedule for a month Sept 15 is now the date for the procedure because their schedule is full until then. That is 6 weeks after stress test concluded its necessity and I'm high risk

Although this doctor may seem caring at first, things can still go quickly downhill. She hit a roadblock with me when it should have not been one. She lied to me in hopes that I didn't know as much about a certain autoimmune disease, so that she could refer me to a pain management specialist instead. I refused to be sent there. I really needed to advocate for myself so I could get further testing done. My insurance didn't cover my MRIs because she didn't provide the documentation needed to show they were medically necessary. I brought this up to the office. The lady at the front said she'd look into it, but she never called me back. For the last appointment I went to, I asked if I could have my medical documents back as I was getting new health insurance and was planning on changing rheumatologists. The front staff told me lie after lie about why they didn't have some of my medical documents and my X-Ray images that was on a CD. They will make up every excuse to not hold themselves accountable because they know I could sue them potentially. I brought this up to the attention of Angela and Mikayla who oversee the clinic and got banned instead. I'm sure some people have had good experiences at this clinic, but I wouldn't take any chances at all. I only kept going because my insurance provided a very limited number of rheumatologists I could see and the others didn't sound promising. Thank God I advocated for my myself hard and still convinced Dr. Sivaraman to prescribe me a DMARD before I stopped seeing her. Because of that medication, I was able to get back on my feet and start working again. She was about to make me someone else's problem because she didn't care to look into things more. It's thanks to me that I'm doing better. Maybe now, I can actually receive a diagnosis soon. Save yourself time and energy, and don't come here.

I have been under Dr. Kalagate's care for over a year without any prior issues. However, the situation began when my daughter was referred as a new patient. After a month of not hearing back from the office, I called to follow up. I was informed that the referral had been received but had issues. I was told someone would call me back -- that call never came. I followed up again and was then told that an insurance referral was required, which I explained was not the case. My insurance does not require referrals, and I have the same coverage for both myself and my daughter, which has never required one during my time as Dr. Kalagate's patient. The office manager at the time was argumentative and dismissive, despite my calm explanation and offer to have the insurance company confirm our policy. While she eventually agreed to schedule my daughter, she did so only after warning that I would be liable for the full cost if the insurance did not pay. When I asked to speak with her supervisor due to her rude behavior, she refused to provide a name or contact. Weeks later, when I called to confirm my upcoming appointment, I was told I had been discharged as a patient due to allegedly being "disruptive" during a visit with my daughter -- a visit that never happened, as I never came to the office with my daughter. When I corrected the record, I was told it was instead due to being "disruptive" during my own visit -- again, a claim with no basis in reality. At no point did I raise my voice or behave inappropriately. I was respectful throughout, despite being treated dismissively and given contradictory information. When the new office manager called me, she stated that Dr. Kalagate stands by the decision to dismiss me and "does not tolerate disruptive behavior." When I asked what specifically I had done that was considered disruptive, I was given vague responses and told that "documentation" exists -- documentation that, based on the false statements made, is clearly one-sided and inaccurate. I find this situation highly unprofessional and distressing. I was a respectful, compliant patient who simply sought care for my daughter and clarification on our insurance policy. I believe I was dismissed unfairly, without investigation or due process, and based on inaccurate information created by a prior staff member. Worse, Dr. Kalagate's decision to support that without review suggests a disregard for patient advocacy and transparency.
