It amazed me how nice the furniture pieces were and how inexpensive thing were. I was especially impressed with the staff (Crystal, Maria, Gabriel and Miles) who do such an amazing job in keeping everything neat. This is not an easy task considering the amount of donations that come in. Thank you everyone for being so nice in answering my questions and keep up the good work!!!!!

Such sofabed was sturdy and well built. The memory foam was in great shape and your uncaring employees turned it down without even looking at it appropriately. They just judged it from few hair and a some dirt still present on the foam. Should you have given it up to homeless people as it was, I am sure that God would have sent his blessing !!!! They are also keeping millions of pounds of items out of landfills every year. This is a very large Goodwill Store on Dixie Hwy. in Palmetto Bay in south Miami. What stood out to me about this store was the incredible level of organization it had. It looked like the Home Edit ladies got their hands on it. I didn't have high hopes when entering because the door was disgustingly dirty but once I stepped inside I was impressed. All of the clothes were grouped by color, shoes were perfectly lined up, everything was by size, type, and in it's place. Most Goodwill's are organized but this was next level. It made me want to go home and tidy up my own closet. I do enjoy exploring a Goodwill but now that I have discovered the pay by pound outlets I tend to prefer the thrill of the hunt there. Still if you are in the area, this is a good store to stop in if for no other reason than organization inspiration.

If the items are soiled or extremely in bad shape then it's not the place to give them. They accept things like clothes, shoes, furniture, houseware things, accessories and electronics. I had a few bags of things which easily fit into my car and I was able to do drop off. They offer to assist you in bringing them inside. They also ask if you need a receipt for your records/taxes. They also have bins in the back of the store if you want to just drop off the bags. For people who can't drop off or have large items of donation such as furniture, you can give them a call and schedule a time for pick up. They pick up the phone in business hours and are good about assisting. Awesome way of giving things to a good organization.~

And this was 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday. The shop is well organized and didn't smell bad. They were playing a Madonna album, which for me, was a bonus. I got some nice stemless wine glasses and mugs for $1 each. Loses two stars for the fact that there wasn't much outside of clothing. In fact, I would say their household goods section and furniture section didn't exist. And as far as clothing goes, it seemed like the prices were a little steep given 2nd hand clothes and the fact you can buy new stuff for those prices if you hit the sales right.
