The quality now is horrible and customer service is even worse, a tone set by the new owners with a "take it or leave it" attitude. Imagine a custom order cake that wasn't ready on time, is defective in appearance, tastes like stale, dry cornbread with greasy icing being handed to you by grimacing counter staff who look as if they want to be somewhere else far away. This was my last experience buying a custom cakes there. Other experiences were just as dismal, but not going back now after finding out about the roaches. I was yearning for the Pollmans from my past and tolerating subpar goods and treatment. No more!
