I paid the invoice that was sent to me of approx. $1500. I would appreciate if you would split the amount I have paid to your firm and would hope it would seem appropriate for a refund 50% of it, as other than sending me bills to pay, I have received zero usable work product from you. I am never one to question how people spend their hours, but I am 100% certain that the earth is scorched and here I am with empty hands, an empty wallet, and an IRS filing that I paid to have submitted, that was apparently never sent. Not ideal when we are grieving the loss of a family member. Sure, sometimes the wait time is longer than expected, but it's because they treat every customer as an individual, making sure all your questions are answered and making sure you get every deduction you are entitled to. Personal service takes time, and some people have more questions/issues to discuss than others. It's kind of hard to judge how much time it will take with each customer when taking an appointment over the phone. I'll gladly wait a little longer knowing they are going to be thorough and save me every dollar they can.
