Havertys, Pottery Barn, MH2G had wonderful salespeople(not pushy). Baers - I really liked, but I had the laziest/uppity saleswoman from Seattle who was definitely in the wrong profession. I was going to return when she wasn't working, but found "Encore" and fell in love! OMG - At "Encore" I bought an Italian leather sofa, chairs, and loveseat, all for low prices and high quality material/upholstery and going back today to buy bedroom furniture. Arthur was a terrifically knowledgeable salesman especially as he was in the Product Development field prior so really knew the quality of the pieces, and had a wonderful eye for design. They told us that in order to pick them up we had to completely crate everything and wrap it like we were shipping it across the country, which is super expensive and troublesome! The house is like 2 miles from the store. So we took the glass pieces out of the lights to secure them. Then when they saw the lights they said they didn't want them because they have nobody to put them back together. They never mentioned that we shouldn't take them apart at all. They were very rude to us the entire time. They must have tons of items to purchase because they treat you like they really don't want your stuff. Don't bother, just post your stuff on ebay, offerup, and facebook marketplace yourself!

Unacceptable, Misleading, and Dishonest Sales Practices…read more I just purchased a sofa from Raquel Guzman, and what followed was one of the most frustrating and unacceptable retail experiences I've ever had. Raquel explicitly told me that I could pick up the sofa from the Tamarac location and that they were open until 9:00 PM. Based on that information, I went ahead and rented a U-Haul, rearranged my entire evening, and drove over. I arrived at 7:02 PM, well before the stated closing time, only to be told that the information I was given was wrong and that they could not help me. The store was essentially closed to me, and no one took responsibility. This was New Year's Eve, and it feels very clear that I was misled just to close a sale, with no regard for the inconvenience or extra costs I would incur afterward. Because of this misinformation, I wasted time, paid out of pocket for a U-Haul rental, and dealt with unnecessary stress -- all for nothing. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of accountability, empathy, or attempt to fix the situation. No apology. No solution. Just excuses. This is not how a reputable company should operate, especially when selling high-ticket items. Customers should be able to trust what a salesperson tells them, particularly when it affects money, logistics, and planning. This experience was unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable. I strongly advise others to get everything in writing and double-check everything, because verbal assurances clearly mean nothing here. I regret this purchase and will think twice before ever doing business here again.

The story is originally from Naples, and they recently expanded to open their first showroom on the east coast. So happy they ventured close to us! To my surprise I was informed that they focused on high-end outdoor furniture. In my life have I ever seen such beautiful patio furniture. He explained that they carried some of the best brands from Brown Jordan to Tuucci umbrellas to Vondom, and a few interior design companies that are now doing outdoor like Palechek and Bernhardt. Also, I happy to learn of a company called Pollywood that specialize in patio furniture made of 100% recycled milk jugs. Imagine yourself at home on your deck, backyard, poolside, or high rise balcony with beautiful outdoor furniture! What an awesome way to create a gorgeous outdoor space! What beautiful memories you can create with your friends and families with an awesome outdoor sanctuary! This company is a scam...bought 5 EXPENSIVE lanterns with being told I could return two depending…read moreon the sizes I chose. When going to return two, they would not allow it. Shocked...got management involved, they agreed to return two. This was Feb. 2, and to date have not received my credit on my statement. (over 800.00 dollars). They are rude and condescending. When buying the original 5, each one comes with a battery and charging cord in a small plastic bag. I had two lanters with no kit bag attached and asked for them. One of the workers there looked up, rolled his eyes, and said in the snottiest voice ever, "Geez, how many screwdrivers do you need?" My daughter and I were shocked...what if I was buying gifts for people...am I supposed to gift with no charger or appropriate size screwdriver to take off the top? I was so uncomfortable, and just said that I would like to charge them at the same time, to use them adequately. Never mind that I had just spent 2700.00 on lanterns. So now we are fighting over a credit that they have not given, yet they have the returned lanterns. Stay away from this place. Such a joke. They do not care at all about the customer.
