UPDATE 12/04/2025:…read more After I filed a complaint with the Idaho Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, I received a formal response from the practice's attorney. The letter states it "has been reviewed and approved by Dr. Mark Freeman." This letter: * Minimizes permanent traumatic burns as a mere "red line." * Presents a narrative of follow-up that is contradicted by my documented communications (emails, patient chart records, and cellphone company provided call logs). * Confirms the technician "used a marker to mark treatment areas," yet the practice only offered a refund months later, after intervention by the Attorney General's Office. * Systematically avoids accountability by ignoring my written and in-person requests, thereby abandoning its patient care obligations. The practice has still not provided a diagnosis or treatment plan, and I continue to pay for specialist care independently. This official response indicates the handling of the initial incident was not an isolated error, but part of a broader pattern in my care. I advise potential patients to exercise caution, as post-treatment patient care is critical.

Each time I have been it has been a pleasant experience because of the friendly atmosphere and welcoming. I also am very pleased with the cosmetic results of what I had done. I would highly recommend Freeman Plastic Surgery. :)

Terrible office experience. The appointment was for 10am, we got there a little early to fill out…read morenew patient paperwork. We were taken back to the room at 10:35 then waited another 20 minutes to see the doctor. Had they said he was behind we would have understood but no explanation given. It wouldn't have been so bad had the doctor (Dr Tait Olaveson DO) not been a complete jerk from the moment he walked in the room. He was very rushed to start off with. My husband thought (before the apt) that maybe he should go to a GI dr for his colonoscopy, so he told that to the doctor and the doctor said "surgeons do those too" and then proceeded to say "you'll have to wait two to three months to get in to one, but ok" (in a sarcastic tone I might add) then got up as if the appointment were over. He failed to realize we were also there to talk about him removing some lipomas from my husband's arm. But honestly having seen what he was like I don't think I would have him operate on my dog. Sum-up: this guy has a horrible bed side manner. Will never go to this guy or recommend him to anyone.

This review is for Dr. Logan Cooper and his PA-C assistant. If you're considering hip replacement…read moresurgery by Dr. Cooper, I strongly suggest DON'T DO IT...until you've had a 2nd or even 3rd opinion by specialists who perform the (posterior) surgery. Dr. Cooper specializes in the (anterior) approach, boasting 6-week healing times on average. It has now been a YEAR since my hip replacement. To this day my thigh, from my knee upward to my hip, is numb and the tendon damage by the incision hinders my ability to get dressed or walk short distances or even sleep. I live on painkillers, which offer some relief, but overall I am much worse off than before the surgery and I may never recover. 7 weeks of physical therapy did absolutely nothing to aid with these issues. To literally add insult to injury, I later discovered that Summit was billing my insurance for my follow up visits which were necessitated by the nerve and tendon damage. At first Dr. Cooper and his PA-C assistant, Joel Whiting, boasted about 6-week healing times...then it was "give it a few more months" then during my last follow up 6 months ago I was told "well sometimes it can take a year to heal." I was totally blown-off at that point leaving me with zero suggestions and zero empathy. I am in my 50's, average height, not overweight and have a muscular build. After multiple visits to another orthopedic surgeon outside of Summit, I was informed by that surgeon he does not do the anterior surgeries due to the increased chances of nerve and tendon damage. I highly recommend seeking multiple opinions and acquiring all the facts before making a decision!
