Best meal in Paris! From start to finish, Balagan delivered. We had an amazing meal and experienced the utmost hospitality. Our server sat down to explain each and every dish at length. She took her time to get to know our tastes and made recommendations. We ended up selecting the set menu 24€/pp. Starter, bruschetta roast beef (4/5) thinly rare sliced roast beef on bread, bone marrow, and an amazing pickled vegetable (fennel?) Tahini bread (5/5) the bread was thin, crunchy and perfect for dipping into the creamy tahini sauce Main course, sea bass shashouka (5/5) spicy red pepper and onion sauce with perfectly cooked sea bass and boiled egg. Served in a pot and piping hot, this spicy dish was my favorite! Main course, Festif spring chicken (4/5) carrot purée, couscous, and smoky roasted chicken (perfectly cooked and juicy) with a grilled lime. I was expecting something slightly spicier but this was still a solid dish Dessert, tahini ice cream (4/5) this was more of a cold tahini butter rather than an ice cream. The sesame brittle, candied pine nuts, and kataifi added the necessary crunch to a very rich and thick dessert (that by the way, does not melt) Dessert, cheesecake (comped) (5/5) not like the traditional cheesecake. More of a thick creamy pudding with fruit purée and crumble at the bottom. Whatever it was, my husband inhaled it! Lunchtime at Balagan is leisurely and easy going. Dinner, I hear, has a larger menu and is more like a club. An amazing restaurant with super reasonable prices! We will be back!

This lively place near the Tuileries is a favorite spot of ours. You know you've found a good spot from the moment you step inside. The staff is immediately greeting you and making you feel comfortable. Once seated, the menu is presented and the fun begins. The only difficulty is making a decision, but your friendly server is there to help with that. We have enjoyed every meal at Balagan and look forward to returning on our next visit to Paris.

I never go to Paris without going to Balagan at least once. The servers are friendly, accommodating around dietary restrictions and always super attentive (not an easy find in the EU). This Israeli inspired restaurant is on an unassuming quiet corner of Rue d'Alger & Rue de Mont-Thabor. Such a fun vibe with the most delicious dishes. Check out the back room for great music and a nightcap!

I was here with a friend for my birthday dinner. Our hotel concierge helped us get reservations the day off at the bar. However, once we reached the restaurant they were super accommodating and gave us the table. I cannot say enough about how good the service was - right from the checking in, wait staff and the wine sommelier, everyone was excellent. We got the bread and dip (delicious), sea bass for the main course and finally the surprise dessert which was the Jerusalem cheesecake (I would never have chosen this dessert off the menu, but it was beyond delicious.) I can't wait to come back!

I really enjoyed Balagan! The food was great and the service was pretty good as well! My friend and I tried to make reservations three days in advance and they were already totally booked and were only able to get us in at 10:30pm. Definitely a popular spot. Would recommend if you're in the mood to drink and party! The music is insanely loud and everyone was singing and dancing along. Fun vibes but definitely not for people wanting a casual dinner!

Babaganoush and txatziki with bread, very good!

AMAZING!!! If you enjoy middle eastern food this place is your Heaven! This restaurant is very trendy, the kind that French locals visit, very original, fun and quite delicious. Probably the best middle eastern food I have ever tried. The Fattoush salad was perfection- again the best restaurant salad I've ever had. Not to miss! The Seabass is phenomenal! Went for lunch and will be back for dinner and probably lunch again! It's that good! Chef David makes for a fun and spontaneous vibe if you are sitting at the bar. My favorite in Paris

Great choice for dinner in Paris if you want something different. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff who are very friendly and add to the experience! They offer many vegetarian/pescatarian dishes to choose from which was wonderful as there were a handful of restaurants who barely had anything without meat. The place is tight so be prepared to be seated closely. The bar is a great option too especially if they are busy or you don't have reservations.

Awful restaurant and not great food. Surprised that it's a Michelin star restaurant. Spend your money on other great restaurants in Paris.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

The bar appears to be full of whatever you would like but a signature cocktail menu that reads like a beautiful coffee table book is given to everyone. The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips. I highly recommend that here if you are familiar with your companions. Call your banker first as $30 per drink is average! But the girl I raised bought it so whatever? Wish I photographed that menu!! Service is bright with ample and thoughtful olive and nuts assortments and water backs for all without asking. For a splurge I could not urge enough of you to try!! Seeing this hotel property alone is worth it right down to the gilded bathrooms excellently attended. We did not try the food as they were just about to convert to first dinner service and we had Xmas Eve dinner for the family booked at a different Michelin star restaurant later. I'll bet the food is the shizzle though!!!
