Beef toritaki. Superb Beet hummus. Trout dip

About as good of a time as one can get. Wonderful host which was very welcoming. Started off with a shot of rum and then one of the best meals I've had in a long time.

Can not express how amazing this restaurant is! Not only is the food outstanding, but it truly is a wonderful overall dining experience! Three brothers own the restaurant and all of them display the epitome of wonderful family oriented hospitality. It is a tapas restaurant featuring cuisines from around the world. Upon sitting down you are greeted with a delicious unique tasting shot and then choose however many dishes you are hungry for. All of which you cannot go wrong with selecting. Highly recommend and will be adding to our list of must go back to's!! :)

What a great meal to start our vacation! Not only was the food phenomenal but the owners really do a good job of making sure everyone is having a good time. I highly recommend getting a later reservation. The kitchen closes at 10:30 and they share with the tables food leftover on the house! Roland and Thibault thank you for getting our vacation started on the right foot!

We had an excellent dinner while staying in the Montmartre area. The place was small but welcoming. The food was very flavorful, well prepared, and not your typical French meal. Our waiter was quite personable and spoke English very well. I loved my experience. I recommend the smoked white fish dish as well as molten chocolate cake with caramel.

Rich, creamy, chocolatey goodness atop wonderfully moist cake sprinkled with coconutty goodness is Les Apôtres' Tiramisu. A must!

Perhaps the bar used to share the kitchen with the restaurant upstairs, but this did not appear to be the case during our visit in September 2016. My husband, sister and I visited Verjus with the hopes of enjoying a bottle or two of wine as well as some heavy tapas. When I mentioned seeing the tapas menu the bartender got confused and said they only offer a small selection of cheese and charcuterie at the bar, but nothing cooked. We attempted to make a reservation at the restaurant upstairs, but unfortunately they were booked solid. We each ordered a glass of wine and split several plates of prosciutto and cheese at the bar. Everything was nice, but we were looking for dinner and the bar was a bit warmer than I would have preferred so after we finished our wine and cheese we ventured off elsewhere. This tiny wine bar is very charming spot to grab a glass of wine, but don't expect to find any tapas here.

Call in advance to make dinner reservations because we did not and the only opening was at 9:45pm. So we opted for the wine bar downstairs, which serves tapas. At first I was a little bummed about not being able to dine at the restaurant upstairs, but the wine bar was FANTASTIC! Here's what we ordered, with the best being at the top of the list. 1. The GNOCCHI was to die for...the pieces were small and ever-so-slightly crispy on the outside. 2. The SPICY FRIED CHICKEN (yes, we order manfood staples when my bf is with me) was so juicy on the inside yet crispy on the outside. The chicken was bursting with flavor. 3. The FLANK STEAK with CHIMICHURRI sauce was surprisingly tender and flavorful. 4. We also had the CELERY ROOT GYOZA. This was hands down the best food that we had in Paris. I can only imagine what the upstairs restaurant serves! The bartender was super cool and was helpful in recommending wine pairings with our food. She poured samples to make sure that we were happy with our wine selections. She also speaks perfectly good English if you're wondering! Thank you yelp for helping us pick out a fantastic restaurant to end our week in Paris. Merci beaucoup!

We each ordered from the set menu, a main course plus appetizer for a phenomenal price (around 30 euros). I had the terrine which was flavorful and perfectly seasoned and a very healthy portion too! For main course I had the pork ribs which were so juicy and had crispy skin, although the sauce was a little bit sweeter than I prefer. The mashed potatoes were to die for though! Others in the party tried the beef bourguignon which was incredibly tender and deliciously seasoned. I think the least favorite was the tomato tarte appetizer which was too sweet for our American palettes. Everything else was so delectable but the standout of the evening was the frog legs appetizer. They were perfectly cooked, delicately garlicky and crisped to perfection! Hands down the best frogs legs I have ever had! Food was excellent but above all, the owners were supremely gracious and made our entire family, including the kids, feel welcome. I will definitely be dining here again every time we visit Paris!

Thanks to a lovely food blogger on Instagram for recommending the French onion soup. It was not super busy but you could tell that the people that were dining were locals and not tourist. You know the food is going to be very authentic when you see that. We tried the French Onion soup with some baguette on the side. The soup was very flavorful and cheesy. We also love how affordable it is to buy a whole bottle of good quality wine at restaurants in Europe. We also ordered the Entrecote steak and it came with potato's. The waiters were very friendly and helpful with deciding on wine. The food came out quickly and and was very fresh. Overall i enjoyed the relaxed and family feel.

We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.

What a great find!…read more This bar doesn't look like much from the outisde but once you walk in, its super cool and full of character. The bar staff was extremely friendly and educated us on the history of the bar. Both bartenders spoke english and were from United States. It was explained to us that Lulu White was a brothel madam, that was concidered to have more power than the mayor of New Orleans during the late 1800s. Her brothel contained a "Blue Book" that allowed patrons to chose their companion via photos. The Lulu White bar, took this concept and allows you to chose your drink according to the individuals photographed in the "Blue book". We were told the individuals listed in the book change about every 6 months but the Lulu White drinks remains constant. I tried the Lulu White: Altos Anejo Tequila, Plymouth Gin, Genepi, Absentroux, and Cardamon noir. It came in a elegant beautiful glass and It tasted like a dry martini with a licorice flavor from the absinthe. This was definitley a drink you sip on to enjoy. The décor of the bar, resembled historical New Orleans with its dim lighting and elegant décor and half moon booth seating. This was a great surprise, and I recomment anyone to stop by and check it out!

Not sure if the ensemble is there every weekend, but they made a great trio. I'd visit when/if in Pigalle again.
