Dr. Stephanie has been seeing me and my family for over 2 years. I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my first child and she helped me feel more comfortable throughout pregnancy. I work on my feet all day and never had the typical aches and pains you hear about during pregnancy and I think a lot is because of Dr. Stephanie. She also would check my baby's positioning and help give more room for the baby to grow. Postpartum I saw her to help my body heal after childbirth and also to maintain all the work she did to help align my spine. I've continued to see her since and all throughout my second pregnancy and postpartum as well. The entire office is friendly and helpful. After both my kids were born I brought them within the first few weeks of life to be adjusted. Our two year old continues to maintain and Dr Stephanie was so helpful in keeping him aligned and corrected while he was falling and bumping all over the place when he was learning to walk. My kids love going and they always are welcomed with smiles and a fabulous play room. My husband also sees Dr Stephanie and has great things to say about her too. My back is still fairly wonky, but Dr. Stephanie and her staff still deserve 5 stars. Why 5 stars but my back is still screwy? Well, I have been incubating a tiny human for almost 39 weeks and I'm pretty much past the point of any relief, save delivering said child. So, overall Balance Care Chiropractic has most definitely held up their end of the healing bargain. The office is simple but serene, very clean and to the point. Dr. Stephanie also has a very sweet room for any kiddos who need to wait for their parental units as they receive treatment. Speaking of treatment, I had three appointments to address an insane pain in my back - diagnosed as a bulged L4 disc on my left side. An awesome side effect of late stage pregnancy, this buldged disc was so bad at one point that even walking was extremely arduous. So, schedule an appointment I did and Dr. Stephanie address the issue with everything from stretching to foam rolling to chiropractic adjustments - making sure to pay close attention to the baby. While I did have immediate relief after each appointment my hip and back inevitably slipped back into pain mode a few hours later. Which, honestly, is to be expected (per Dr. Stephanie and per common sense) and this baby bump is pulling everything forward. Two weeks later, however, I do have a bit of relief and I can only imagine (read: hope) that I'll have a fairly healthy back ASAP. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, open minded chiropractor in the Schaumburg area, definitely give Balanced Care a crack. Ha! read more

The administrative team and clinical team are outstanding. I've seen several doctors through the years for various problems and never had I experienced the level of concern as I do at Dr. Stephanie's office. I saw the bad review on here and was shocked. Obviously he hasn't met or experienced chiropractic care from this office or I'm sure his review would have been quite different. Upon visiting their office, you are greeted by Barb. She will quickly learn your name and will help you with anything. She's helped me with insurance issues, ordering blood work, and even faxing results several times. They accept most insurance plans and will work with you on price if you don't have coverage. Many chiropractic offices push as many patients through the door as possible and are more focused on profits than the actual patient. I came in with relentless back pain and an underlying autoimmune disease, while pregnant. Although I look like a healthy pregnant woman, she has taken my condition seriously and has provided me with countless solutions which are leading to improvements for myself and will help the health of my developing baby. She even caught vitamin deficiencies that otherwise could have been harmful to my child. I usually don't write this kind of lengthy review, but I feel they really deserve a shout out. It's hard to find a good doctor that listens and when you do, I feel it's important to give credit. I have been to 1 million doctors and specialists over the past year. The warm and welcoming feeling you get at Dr. Stephanie's office is unlike anywhere else. Instead of being greeted by cold/annoyed receptionists who are looking to do the least amount of work possible- you are greeted by the warmest and most welcoming ladies who treat you like a patient and not just an insurance holder to bill. They don't immediately shove paperwork at you to "describe your pain". Instead, they talk to you like a person. Dr. Stephanie is one of the smartest doctors I've ever met. She has really taken the time to think about my case and even has reached out to others to get their opinions. When you have an issue that no one has really been able to identify or help with- you need someone who isn't afraid to dig around for answers for you. Dr. Stephanie recognizes how some doctors try and run up your bill with weekly visits and she works to teach you things to do at home so you don't have to constantly live your life in a doctor's office. I told her I have spent tons of my salary on fixes to this problem that haven't helped and I appreciate that she takes that into account with her decisions- whether it's searching for the cheapest place to order my blood work, or putting my mind at ease with a low stress payment plan, she is constantly treating me like a real person and not just a paying patient I have recently sent my pregnant sister, who tends to stay out of the doctors office, to doctor Stephanie and my sister was so pleased with her appointment and has scheduled more appointments to help with her pregnancy. As a person with chronic skeletal issues I ALWAYS need a Chiropractor. When mine retired several years ago I began the search for a new office. This is hands down best chiropractic office in the northwest suburbs. I have been religiously coming in for services since 2012. Dr. Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to get to know her patients. At first I was hesitant in seeing a chiropractor, however, Dr. Stephanie explained the science behind what she was doing and now, having gone the past 8 years, I can say I fully trust her advice and adjustments.
