My previous therapist that I had been with for many years suggested Donna when she had made a career move. The transition to Donna was seamless. I didn't feel as if I had to start over from the very beginning. I had a near instant rapport. That quality can be rare in today's society. I understand that the typical patients of Donna are children, adolescents and/or families & parenting. She has degrees in social work and school psychology. I might not be the typical age of a client at her practice, but that is not in any way an issue. The office decor is well appointed. Comfortable furniture and walls of posters and signs with positive sayings. I would love to make an area in my house similar to the office to decompress and bring about a calmness on a daily basis. Donna's fees are very reasonable whether one has insurance, a health savings account, are paying out of pocket or have an insurance co-pay. There are a number of insurances accepted. Bottom line, I wholeheartedly recommend Donna Ulrich-Termini.

My wife and I took our daughter here for some minor issues earlier this spring in hopes that she…read morecould get the right help. It turned out to be a disaster. The first visit was fine according to our daughter. She liked the visit. We didn't ask any specific questions. My mother-in-law took her to her second visit become of work. The limited licensed social worker, who our daughter was seeing, came out and asked my mother-in-law to tell her about the abuse from her father. Taken aback, my mother-in-law vehemently denied those accusations. She never told my mother-in-law who said the word "abuse". My mother-in-law assumed it came from my daughter by the way the social worker was talking. That info was relayed to us causing great turmoil thinking our daughter would accuse me of abuse. This social worker also told our daughter she used to work at CPS and that if it happened again, she would be taken from our home to live with relatives. Thus scaring her. I have spanked her with a belt but not remotely hard enough to even leave a mark. After much talk between my wife and I while our daughter stayed with my mother-in-law while we sorted things out, we basically discovered the word "abuse" came from the social worker. After a discussion with our daughter, it was confirmed. And our horrible fears were relieved. Our daughter advised us that the social worker asked her about me spanking her on the first visit to which my wife and I told her not to lie and tell the honest truth. We have nothing to hide. The second session was on a Thursday and after waiting through the weekend to let things cool down, I called the therapist office to relay our disappointment in being labeled an abuser to our daughter and scaring her with removal from her home. After talking to the scheduling person, I was assured someone would call me to discuss our issue. The very next morning, our daughter called my wife almost crying because someone from child protective services showed up to our house wanting to talk to me. She was scared she would be taken from our home. After coming home, CPS came back to talk to me. After a great conversation, I was assured this was basically a bogus call aside from being advised I cannot use a belt to discipline our child. She also advised our daughter not to worry about being taken from our home and how CPS truly works and what I did was not even remotely close to being abuse. I had asked the CPS worker when she got the call regarding me and she said that morning. Interesting how she got called the morning after I lodged a complaint with the office. I was advised that they are mandatory reporters of abuse and I totally understand that. I was advised by CPS that it is normal for mandatory reporters to report abuse within 24 hours. It took this place a week and a half and the morning after my complaint to the therapist office to report me to CPS. Sure does sound like I was reported only after making a complaint. And a bogus complaint at that. We also have the CPS report to back it up. I was contacted about a week later by the office manager and she was polite enough to let me talk and air my grievances but would not apologize for being called an "abuser" to my daughter and scaring her with CPS and removal from her very loving home. She only could tell me that she was on vacation and knows nothing about it. She never offered to talk with the social worker in question or offer any sort of closure. We obviously never went back and now have her in a much better place getting the quality care she deserves with no issues. I would NOT advise anybody to come here after the trouble and grief this place has caused my daughter, wife and I. Just as bad, they had ZERO remorse and the integrity to make things right. They only sought out to cover their grave mistakes by calling CPS on me. Terribly unprofessional.
