I went to college in Philly - originally from the NE - and worked at a deli who specialized in cheesesteaks We ordered this evening - the bread was over so over the top microwaved that we had to throw the bread away. I called Baldinos - the guy who answered said he "was a manager" - and that the rolls were not microwaved. He was unapologetic and arrogant. The bread was so microwaved it was curled - I didnt ask for a refund - we just wont use them again - I suggest that we find all find a new place to order true Philly cheesesteaks. read more

We ordered a 16 inch pepperoni pizza and asked for extra sauce. The pizza didn't come with any extra sauce so we asked the waitress for sauce on the side. She apologized and asked us how many sides of sauce we wanted. We asked for 3 sides which came out in small cups and she charged us $1 for each sauce! Of course there was no mention of an upcharge when we ordered. The pizza was also burned on the bottom. We ordered chocolate cake for dessert and while it looked amazing, it was actually very dry. We have been in Jupiter for a week and ate here 3times so far. Great place for pizza. The delivery is quick. The pizza and salad are great. The pizza is thin crusted. Also, the price is fair. We also went inside to eat. I loved the antipasto salad with pinwheel rolled meats. We ordered garlic knots too. They were fresh baked oozing with garlic butter. There was ham, provolone, and salami. They have a good veggie pizza with fresh broccoli, tomatoes, olives and more. Their wines are generous and fair priced. I had a Montepuciano for $8. It was at least a 9 ounce pour. Finally, they have the most beautiful desserts. We indulged in the Limoncello mascarpone cake and the double chocolate torte. This is all homemade and fresh' Mangiamo tutti! As a former CSI agent and Maximum security guard this place shook me right down to the core, when I was visiting New York me and my buddy Mat saw this restaurant called Baldinos Italian restaurant with a 5 star rating, Me and Mat where curios to try it out so he told me if i could go buy 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 cheese pizza and 1 Hawaiian as I drove to the restaurant and arrived and everything seemed to be normal when I first arrived I saw this man named Greg who ran the restaurant and and ordered the pepperoni and cheese pizzas But as soon as a said Hawaiian pizza I heard a loud shutting sound and everything went dark but out of nowhere these huge flood lights instantly blinded me for a few seconds and when I open my eyes my heart stopped as I froze in fear this guy or creature named Greg transformed in the hideous creator that reassembled some type of mongrel straight out of hell this creature his eye sockets where empty and covered is blood his chest was that of a starving child the creature kept of murmuring the word Hawaiian pizza and the forbidden pizza over and over again as if it was a child learning it's first words , it circled around me like I was it's prey but out of no where he mysteriously teleported in front of me and said to me "I will decapitate your head and rip off your penis for ordering the forbidden pizza I feel bad so I'll give you one minutes to hide" my penis instantly retracted and my eyes ran blood shot my my entire body ran cold and I was put in my fight or flight mode but I couldn't move I was frozen in fear I couldn't move any muscle the only thing I felt was my heart beating faster and faster as he grabbed by the leg with his spider like arms long and said "times up" I asked him to give me one more chance but the familiar smell of chlorine gas knocked me out after a few breaths I later woke up from my bed and got told the same question by Mat but instead I told mat to go to a different restaurant and he refused I told him about my dream and he asked if I was on any drugs but I refused to be on any narcotics ,he later drove to the pizza place and ever since then he never came back I filed a missing person report and they had a huge search party and ever interrogated me and hooked me up to a lie detector but came with no results I am the only person who know where he is god know what Greg did to mat I wish I could've stopped Mat but after 4 years I visited the store and tried the pizza and my god the pizzas where fantastic 100% recommend not sure about 100 missing poster on the wall that included Mats missing poster on and don't like how Greg stared at me . read more

Our favorite stop on a recent trip with my kids. We were on our way to visit Dickinson State Park and stopped at Baldinos based on other Yelp reviews. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals - pizza with pepperoni & sweet peppers, the biggest Stromboli I've ever seen and fantastic Philly cheesesteak rolls! The new owners have taken this local hole-in-the-wall restaurant to a whole new level!! We ordered mozzarella sticks, combo calzone, 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza and eggplant stack. A*L*L of the food is more than AMAZING!!! We ordered delivery, the owner took our order and was such a sweetheart on the phone. Our food was delivered (during the boat parade) in 30min. Come on now! 30min in that traffic?!?! That's just amazing! Ok, let's talk taste. First up, mozzarella sticks. These aren't your typical restaurant "frozen" cheese sticks. These babies have clearly been cut from a block of fresh mozzarella, breaded and cooked to order. They are ginormous and, shall I say(??)...the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had! I'm kind of a fried cheese snob and these truly are the best. Next up, eggplant stack. Oh my goodness, if you like eggplant, get this!! It's big enough to be a small meal. The eggplant is fresh, layered with prosciutto, ricotta and tomato then topped with a fresh slice of mozzarella. As if it couldn't get any better, this delight is topped with a sweet and savory balsamic glaze. To die for!! On to dinner; the combo calzone. This M-A-S-S-I-V-E masterpiece can feed 3-4 people. It is loaded with freshly made ingredients. The green peppers were still crisp and each ingredient was perfectly layered to stimulate your taste buds. I felt like a child Christmas morning, opening a gift, as I opened the box containing this enormous calzone. Not pictured (because my hubby and kids couldn't wait to dig in) is their pizza. W*O*W!! So much flavor packed into a slice of pizza!! The crust is thin and perfect. Not soggy and not burnt...its perfect. The mozzarella cheese is fresh, their marinara sauce compliments the pizza with a sweet but sooo savory flavor and topped with the exact amount of Italian herbs to tease your mouth and keep it wanting more. I've been going to Baldino's on and off for many years. The one thing I can say is they are consistently not consistent. I have ordered before and the food has been amazing. Good Stromboli's, salads, pizza and chicken Philly. Other times the pizza has been very undercooked. Stromboli wasn't vented corrected so steam watered down the inside of it. Salad. I'm not sure what to say. My most recent visit the pizza was very undercooked. Crust was practically raw causing the toppings to fall off. Ended up tossing most of it out. I guess take your chances. The first visit about a month ago was good . Philly cheese steaks were delicious. My daughter loved her pizza. However, I dined in tonight and was not impressed. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is the best I've ever had (I've never been to Philly). They import Amoroso buns from Philly and that' makes it extra special. Once you walk into Baldino's, the layout and smell of pizza in the air will remind you of a New York pizzeria, and the pizza here is definitely on-point. The crust is the way it should be - crisp and with a nice texture, perfect for doing the 'New York fold' once you pick up your slice. We decided to go for a New York/Philly hybrid - the Philly cheesesteak pizza - and yep, it does taste like a Philly-style cheesesteak, with that great pizza crust subbing for the sub roll. We also tried their chicken parm, nicely prepared and great flavor, on par with any restaurant you'd find in Little Italy. Our server Bridget was great - a Jersey gal who made us feel right at home and was a lot of fun to chat with. All in all, a great, low-key night out in comfortable surroundings harking back to my early years as a kid in New York. We'll be back again soon! read more

This review is only for the pizza, since that is all we had. If you're from the Northeast you probably won't like the pizza. It was very thin and bland. We asked for it well done and the bottom was soggy. So I'm not sure how soft it would be if we didn't say well done. We ordered half meatball and it was totally covered with sliced meatballs, so there's that. They do give mints with the final receipt and were very friendly when we were leaving. read more

We've been coming to Baldino's regularly for...15 years? There have been some changes throughout that time as ownership has changed hands, but generally it has been consistently good. However our most recent experience (after a year hiatus) was a letdown. The menu has changed (though not reflected online) and seafood is no longer an option. Goodbye delicious mussels in marina, fish of the day, buttery shrimp scampi, and fruitte de mer. It's disappointing that this is no longer an option and frustrating that the menu has not been updated on the website. read more

I agree with Ida C's review. The slowest, beyond slowest take out I have ever experienced in Florida! My order was supposed to be ready at 7:20pm. I arrived at 7:25 pm and the manager or owner told me another 15 minutes. I didn't get my order until 8:10pm. That's 40 minutes late. And it happened to me before. I spoke to a woman, who for some reason returned, said she ordered a big Christmas dinner and it never arrived. I believe her. We live in the area and have been here many times. I've held off on the review because I really wanted to give it more than 3 stars. Unfortunately, I can't. Food is just mediocre. Philly cheese steak and pizza are probably the safest bets, but the dinners are just lacking in quality and flavor. I'm giving it three stars because the owners are such nice people, the wait staff is excellent with friendly and attentive service, the pizza is decent and the cheese steak is pretty good. I will probably return because it is within walking distance to my condo, and it's good for a quick meal. I wouldn't order a dinner here again, since the few I've had were really not good.
