Apparently this place has been around for 51 years , so they must be doing something right. Counter service with a few barstools , but mainly takeout joint. Went with my daughter. She had a turkey club on rye and said it was very good. I had a Ruben and it was just ok. Not up to my NY/NJ standards. My biggest complaint is the use store bought rolls and bread like you would buy in the aisle at Publix. Fresh made rolls and bread would make a world of difference. I ordered a plain hot dog and and antipasto salad. The spanish girl made my hot dog first ( microwaved, which is ok), then took over 20 minutes making the antipasto salad. As a Jupiter native, I've been going to the Connection for subs all my life. They've always had good quality subs that are perfect for a good beach or boat day. Recently I went back after being away for a few years and the sub was just as good, but the service wasn't. There were three ladies working and they weren't friendly. I understand it's a Sunday and nobody wants to be working, but that's the job they picked and it shouldn't be put out onto the customer. They looked visibly annoyed to be working and it really rubs off on the customers who come in excited for the day. Real deal, authentic sub sandwich, the bread is fresh, the meat is piled high, the vinegar and oil is mixed to perfection. Lunch specials are available and options of chips are endless and to add to your palate they offer an array of cold pastas, I had the tuna mac and it was amazing! These subs are really good! The Italian is excellent and packed full of meat. The Philly also had a lot of meat, although picture doesn't do it it justice. We ordered a massive dill pickle that tasted fresh and homemade for only $1.69. There is no inside dining, due to covid. We will be back! read more

Been getting subs here for 40 years, back when Wally's donuts was next door, if any one remembers that place. All I can say is the old heavy set "looks are in the eye of the beholder" sandwich maker is both very nasty and rude and makes a below average sub for an above average price. I live walking distance and sadly, I would rather walk to publix after this past mother's day when I went in for subs. Avoid her, she's horrible. read more

I was in Jupiter cruising around looking for property when I stumbled upon this little sub shop. I actually drove past it once but the next time I made the block, something was calling me in, lol. Easy parking right up front. Signs on the inside boasting 40+yrs in business, I'd say they must be doing some things right. There's a large menu board hanging above the counter with lots of classic subs to choose from, both hot and cold. Several friendly ladies ready to greet you and take your order. I decided to go Cuban and selected the smaller size. I didn't watch her prep it but once I saw the traditional flat press I knew I made a good choice. Just the amount of fresh pork, ham and Swiss cheese. The fresh baked bread was spread with classic yellow mustard and lined with pickles. While in Jupiter I took the recommendation of a local and stopped into Connection For Subs and Sandwiches for a quick lunch! Pleased with the variety of the menu and the many size options you can choose from. I opted for the Lite Bites sandwich which is a 6" sandwich with 1/2 the meat of a regular sub. Trust me, you're not missing a lot of meat, it's still worth it! In addition to the sub, I tried the clam chowder soup and it was probably the best clam chowder I've had. Seriously. Food poisoning. Ordered a Cuban and a Reuben Late in the day. Shared the Reuben with my mom and ate a little bit of the Cuban- it didn't taste right so I tossed it. Pretty soon after I felt strangely queasy. Then a couple hours later I had intense chills and nausea. Then fever and sweats with all the accompanying digestive distress I will spare readers. Woke up today with a nasty headache and fatigue. I wear a mask everywhere and have been vaxxed - the odds of it being COVID or flue are minuscule. My mom was fine - she only ate the Reuben. I have been there two times and the Cuban sandwich is excellent. I went there a third time and was waited on by a young Latino male. He took my order and proceeded to walk around the restaurant like a snail. First he went over and was flirting with another employee who was trying to wait on the only other customer in the place. Then he went to the kitchen and was talking to employees there. Then he came back and went back and continued to flirt with the same employee. After waiting at least 5 or more munites of this boy doing anything except preparing my sandwich I cancelled the order and left. Sandwich was OK, but there's a BIG problem. I came here because of previous good reviews on Yelp, and wanted to give a local operation a chance over a chain sub shop. I noticed one review said it was take-out only, but there is a small counter with about 4 or 5 stools where you could sit. First, the sandwich: Got half of a sub, 6", with roast beef, ham, & turkey. A 6" sub is plenty for most people. Meat seemed to be of above average quality. They weigh each portion. Sandwich was average tasting, and the bread was simple white, nothing to write home about. The lettuce is finely shredded, which some people like, but others don't like. I've had more flavorful sandwiches & with more options for bread types and toppings. I got a bottle of iced tea from the cooler, but it was not very cold at all. Now, here's my big problem: The lady was wearing plastic gloves when I arrived, and made my sandwich with them on. She then rang me up on the register, took my money, and gave me change while wearing those gloves. Red flags were going off in my head, so I closely watched what was going to happen next before I left. She kept the gloves on, used some alcohol sanitizer in an expeditious manner, rubbed it on the gloves as someone would do with their own hands, and proceeded to take the next person's order and make their food without changing gloves. Personally, I don't believe that using a quick squirt of hand sanitizer on gloves is any substitute for changing gloves. I don't think the alcohol was even dry yet before she grabbed the next sub roll and started cutting it. I was completely disgusted and threw my sandwich away. I will not be back. read more
