He took it by to be fixed and was then told that it would be $250 because it was worse than what he originally thought. My husband ordered the parts himself for $37 and installed them but the door wouldn't line up properly because we don't have a shop or the equipment and experience to do it right. So, while my husband was at work, I took the truck back to have them align the door, I was standing there looking at the truck with them and was told that the door frame was completely rusted out and would have to be removed, welded, reattached and wasn't given a estimate because the work would be extensive and take a full day if not longer. The truck has no rust at all, absolutely none, I realized these people were not only liars but were utterly unprofessional and the worst kind of crooked business owners. There's no telling how many people don't know better and just pay what they ask for, this is sad and it's disgusting to do this to people and take advantage of them. I took the truck to H and H yesterday right at closing so they could work on it today, at 9:11 this morning they texted me saying the truck was done, everything is perfect and it will be $20. I went to Ivey's to get a front end alignment on my Ram 3500 DRW truck and was told I needed to…read morereplace the upper and lower ball joints then do the alignment. The truck had approximately 52K on it but they said that's the normal range for Ram ball joints to wear out. Based on their feedback I approved the work to be done. They installed aftermarket parts and when I drove the truck home it was difficult to maintain my travel lane. I took it back to Ivey's and was told this was normal during the "break in period". After 500 miles the truck was still acting the same so I took it to another shop and was told I needed OEM ball joints to solve the problem. Once the OEM ball joints were installed my truck handles perfect again! Ivey's are supposed to be the experts but I feel like I was sold a$1,200 dollar bill of goods that wasn't really needed. I will not go there again.
